 So, everyone now knows the federal government has inserted itself deeply into the health insurance "market" to force coverage for the thirty-two million uninsured. In doing so, our congress and president participated in the destruction of the health insurance industry and the ruination of the world's best health care system.

 Regardless of Democrat spin, literally millions of people are being forced out of their current health insurance plans which they like. They must have health insurance or be fined by the federal government. But many cannot afford the government option even if they had access to the sign-up procedures -- which a faulty system does not permit. Even under the Affordable Care Act provisions, they cannot afford the premiums, the co-pays or the deductibles. For this there are very plausible reasons discussed below.

 A normal, relatively free, market place exercises highly rational means for determining premiums, co-pays and deductibles. However, these rational means are discarded under Obamacare in favor of liberal ideology that blames all cost problems on the insurance industry.
 

Health insurance, as with any insurance, is predicated on a solid foundation of actuarial science. Since most people are not familiar with actuarial science, a definition is in order.

 Actuarial science is the study of risk through the use of mathematics, probability and statistics. A person who performs risk assessment is known as an actuary. Actuaries are employed in financial, insurance, pension and other related sectors. Actuarial science is similar to medicine in that it involves extensive schooling over time and considerable qualification through examination. For their skill and effort actuaries are well compensated.

 Actuarial science combines several skills. Probability and statistics have been mentioned. It also includes the disciplines of finance and business. Certification of actuaries requires a minimum of a bachelors degree. Roughly sixty percent of all registered actuaries are employed in the
 insurance industry. Without actuarial science insurance companies could not exist. They would have no basis to financially cover the cost of protecting individuals and property.
 

Actuarial science functions in a manner that calculates and balances the risk to a company against the reward they offer through various policies.  Some actuaries provide services to a single company, typically an insurance company. They practice a single aspect of actuarial science and become experts in that area. Other actuaries are employed by contract and may
 practice broadly. Some contract actuaries become expert witnesses testifying in court cases involving lost income due to accidents, future asset valuation in divorce cases and other complex calculations.
 

Two societies license individuals to perform actuarial science: the Society of Actuaries (SOA) and the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS). These organizations certify actuaries through the administration of examinations.  Eventually an actuarial candidate will choose a specialty late in the certification process.
 

The federal government has exercised little or none of this rational actuarial discipline. It is Obama's ideological considerations that dominate his policies. If thirty-two million uninsured were truly the issue, the cost to cover them would have been much cheaper than implementing the "Affordable Care Act." Even now policy changes could be enacted immediately (Executive
Order??) to redeem the administration and the health care system. That won't happen because the ideological transformation of America is far more important to Obama and liberal Democrats. Website problems are merely a red herring. Any politician who critiques the Obamacare website problems with a straight face does not have your interests at heart.

 From the beginning the objective of Obamacare (euphemistically termed the "Affordable Care Act") was to transform America into an entity of "social justice." America, in the opinion of Obama and his liberal Democrat supporters, was founded unjustly by wealthy white men for their own benefit and codified in the US Constitution.

Obamacare is liberalism on display. Obama's entire sales pitch for Obamacare was a huge deception and too many people bought it. Liberal Democrats perpetuate the myth of their care for the "little guy." All that matters to them is that they gain total control over the health care system.
 That gives them total control over the way people live because they then determine who receives medical treatment. This is a powerful means of manipulation.

If most people were previously happy with their health insurance, then there was no major systemic problem. If health insurance wasn't broke, why is Obamacare trying to fix it?
