News used to be all about Russia, Russia, Russia. Then it was Stormy, Stormy, Stormy. Now it is impeach, impeach, impeach. The same old song and dance about the left getting rid of Trump grows old after awhile. There is a lot of other news out here but a conscious effort by the media chooses not to cover it.

Meanwhile, congress is forever telling us what we, the people, want. “The American people want…XYZ.” And absolutely nothing was accomplished by congress for two and one-half years. What we really want is fairness in news coverage, fairness in the political process, and an honest day’s work from those we elect.

President Trump is the man to fit the bill in the eyes of the American people. He is a tireless worker. He could care less what the media thinks about him. People don’t care if he isn’t “presidential.” They don’t care if he insults people – especially the press. They don’t care if he changes policy positions when necessary. He doesn’t have lobbyist money controlling him. He doesn’t care about political correctness. Trump is one guy who seems to understand what we, the people, want. We want to keep more of our money. We don’t want to be micromanaged by a central politburo. We are tired of being overrun by illegal aliens with more rights than citizens. Trump is the one guy who gets things done and not just talk about it. He is a negotiator. He is a builder. He is a successful entrepreneur. One thing he is not. He is not a politician. Because he is not part of the establishment, Washington and the media hate him.

Here is what President Trump’s political opponents – every elected Democrat leader and many Republican Never-Trumpers – look like. We elect congressmen and senators to office. What we receive in return for the pay and benefits package given to every congressman and senator is condescension and disdain. Once they are elected, their office is theirs forever unless they resign or retire. Every elected silver-tongued fox convinces us to vote for them over and over and over. Do they care about us? Or about America? For all the federal money they spend (we are $21 trillion in debt), what do you and I have to show for it? We write letters of complaint. In response, a “boilerplate” letter is sent to us regurgitating to us what we already know. Thanks, Congress!

Don’t blame Trump for the debt. He cannot spend a dime congress does not authorize and appropriate. Should he veto a budget flush with pork? For that Trump is attacked by both Democrats and Republicans – for shutting down the government!

This is an apple cart worth upsetting.

I am convinced if the Democrats get rid of Trump they are not going to be satisfied. They will not stop by just getting rid of Trump. The Democrat leadership and Never-Trump Republicans hate us. Consider the way the media portrays Trump supporters, especially when reporting on Trump rallies. It is never favorable.

In the end, we are the enemy. We are the ones who put him in office. We who voted for Trump, support Trump, and made his presidency possible are, by extension, hated as much as Trump is hated. Moreover, he is likely to be re-elected by us. What is at stake for our future is the freedom to win at the ballot box and not be punished for winning!

Imagine for a moment a hypothetical situation. Envision Trump driven from office. Who becomes President? Michael Richard Pence. Does anyone think for a nanosecond that attacks from the left would stop? That the left would proclaim “Mission Accomplished?” Not on your life! We are the objects of their wrath. We are the ones to be bullied, defeated, and silenced to the point that we, the people, would never again consider electing a rouge that could threaten the establishment – the permanent political class.

If Trump goes down, we’re next. The left will ensure there are no more Donald Trump’s to upset their establishment apple cart -- ever again! We, the people, will be regulated into oblivion.

Only recently did we learn the full extent to which the upper echelons of the FBI, IRS, and DOJ were corrupt and working against the American people and the election of Donald Trump for the benefit of the political elite. Attorney General Barr is quietly conducting his investigation of corruption in the federal government going as far back as the Obama administration. Come on, AG Barr. Shine the light of day on government sleaze and fraud. Please don’t let the wrong-doers walk scot-free.

Meanwhile, Trump’s enemies hate us even more as they hear that he is not losing public support – but is actually gaining.
