A few years ago, news was all about Russia, Russia, Russia. Or, Stormy, Stormy, Stormy. Or, impeach, impeach, impeach. The same old song and dance about the opposition getting rid of Donald J. Trump grew old. There was considerable other news, but the media made a conscious effort to evade it.

Meanwhile, congressmen and senators are forever telling us what “we the people” want. “The American people want…XYZ” they say with a knowing look of authority. Yet, nothing “we the people” want gets accomplished. All talk and no action. What we really want is fairness in news coverage, fairness in the political process, and an honest day’s work from those we elect.

President Trump is the man to fit the bill in the eyes of most Americans. He is a tireless worker. He could care less what the media thinks about him. People don’t care if he doesn’t “look presidential.” They don’t care if he abuses opponents and the press. They don’t care if he changes policy positions when policies don’t work. He doesn’t owe the lobbyists because he didn’t take their money. He could care less about political correctness. Trump is the one guy who seems to understand what “we the people” want. We want to keep more of our money. We don’t want to be micromanaged by some central politburo. We are tired of being overrun by illegal aliens with more rights than we citizens. Trump is the one guy who gets things done instead of just jawboning it to death. He negotiates. He builds. He honestly created a real estate empire. One thing he is not. He is not a politician. He is an outsider to the Washington establishment. As such, the Ruling Class and their media sycophants hate him.

Here is what President Trump’s political opponents – every elected Democrat leader and many Republican Never-Trumpers – look like. We elect congressmen and senators to office. What we receive in return for their pay and benefits package is condescension and disdain. Once elected, their office is theirs forever unless they resign, retire, or expire. Every elected silver-tongued fox offers promises in exchange for our vote over and over and over. And we blithely submit. Do they care about us? Or about America? For all the federal money they spend (we are $36 trillion in debt and growing), what do you and I have to show for it except an obvious attempt to buy our vote? We write letters of protest. In response, we get a “boilerplate” letter regurgitating to us what we already know. Thanks, Congress!

The President cannot spend a dime that congress does not authorize and appropriate. Should any President veto a budget flush with pork? Fat chance. Any president would be attacked by the Ruling Class for “shutting down” the government!

Even so, this is an apple cart worth upsetting.

If the Ruling Class defeats Trump, will they be satisfied? No way. They will not stop at just getting rid of Trump. The Democrat leadership and Never-Trump Republicans hate you and me. Consider the way the media portrays Trump supporters, especially when reporting on Trump rallies. It is never favorable.

In the end, we are the enemy. We are the ones who put Trump in office in the first place. If Trump is elected to a second term, then we by extension, will be hated by the political Ruling Class as much as they hate him. In liberal eyes, “we the people” are complicit. What is at stake for our future is the freedom to win at the ballot box and not be punished for winning!

Imagine for a moment a hypothetical situation. Envision Trump elected as President but unable to finish his term. Who then becomes President? J. D. Vance. Does anyone think for a nanosecond that attacks from the Ruling Class, both left and right, would halt? That they would proclaim “Mission Accomplished?” Don’t be silly! WE are the objects of their wrath. WE are the ones to be bullied, defeated, and silenced to the point that “we the people” will never again consider electing a rouge who threatens the establishment – the permanent political class.

If Trump goes down, we’re next. The Ruling Class will ensure there are no more Donald Trumps to upset their establishment apple cart -- ever again! “We the people” will be regulated into oblivion.

Only recently did we learn the full extent to which the upper echelons of the FBI, IRS, and DOJ were corrupt and working against the American people and in favor of the political elite. Congress and the various Inspectors General of government departments conducted investigation after investigation of corruption in the federal government. When was the last time any investigation resulted in a prosecution and conviction? Never – except for the outsider Donald J. Trump and his allies.

Never forget. We are the enemy.

Meanwhile, Trump’s opponents hate us even more as they hear that he is not losing public support. He is gaining.
