DENNIS PATRICK: ISLAMIC COLONIZATION
There is upheaval throughout the Muslim world as Islamists seek to expand a worldwide Caliphate. ISIS, Al Qaeda and their subsidiaries are the major proponents using violence against any who thwart their expansion.
Today Europe faces an immigration crisis of epic proportions from the Muslim world. Purportedly the migration was generated in response to Muslim fighting in the Middle East and the Syrian civil war in particular. Yet, most of the photos and TV footage show predominately young men, not women and children, allegedly escaping the Syrian war zone.
There is more to the migration story than is being reported although the information is available through open sources. What may be taking place is a form of Islamic colonization.
The earliest Islamic migration, or hijrah, was undertaken by Muhammad. Originally the hijrah was understood to be the migration or journey of Muhammad and his followers from Mecca to Yathrib, later renamed Medina, in the year 622. In June 622, after being warned of a plot to assassinate him, Muhammad left his home in Mecca moving to the safety of Yathrib about 200 miles away.
There have been other hijrahs over time. Today the hijrah is literally jihad by emigration. To emigrate in the cause of Allah is to move to a new land in order to spread Islam. It is considered to be a highly meritorious act. The Koran maintains, “And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many locations and abundance. And whoever leaves his home as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him, his reward has already become incumbent on Allah. And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.” (4:100)
ISIS developed a strategy to further its expansion. In February 2015 they threatened to flood Europe with 500,000 immigrants. The idea was to move migrants from Libya to Europe in a “psychological” attack on the West. European telephone intercepts to this effect were gathered and published in Italy.
The current ISIS strategy of overwhelming the foe with fighters is nothing new. In Korea the Chinese would send wave after wave of soldiers against overwhelming firepower to eventually overrun US positions. The Russians did the same to defeat the Nazis at the Battle of Stalingrad. They suffered 1.1 million casualties but won the battle.
Militants hoped to cement their control of Libya, then cross the Mediterranean disguised as refugees. Information was gleaned from correspondence viewed by Quilliam, the British anti-terrorist think tank based in London. The documents were composed by an ISIS on-line recruiter.
Interestingly, the late Muammar Gaddafi warned that the Mediterranean would become a “sea of chaos” if he were removed from power. He made this prediction in his last interview in March 2011. ISIS had not yet made inroads into Libya. However, the US was backing the effort to remove Gaddafi. Once the Gaddafi regime fell, ISIS moved to fill the vacuum. In the ISIS strategy at that time, Libya would serve as a gateway to wage war across southern Europe.
Soon, the US was to leave Iraq, Syria would become embroiled in a civil war and another power vacuum would develop to the strategic advantage of ISIS. As with Libya, a weak US foreign policy contributed to the Syrian power vacuum which ISIS filled.
Today Muslim migrants arrive in Europe at a steady rate of more than 10,000 a day with an increased rate anticipated. They escape from detention centers into the European Muslim population. The New York Times on October 29 reported that there are more than 60 million displaced persons and refugees throughout the Muslim world. They are coming into Europe not only from Syria but also from Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Gaza, sub-Saharan Africa and North Africa.
Austrian gun dealers have sold out of their stock of shotguns fueled by fear of the migrant crisis. The head of the German Refugee Office quit on September 18 under criticism as the crisis continued to grow. Meanwhile, five of the wealthiest Muslim countries (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates) have taken no refugees arguing that to do so would expose them to terrorism! However, Saudi Arabia has graciously offered money to build 200 mosques in Germany!
Breitbart London reported on October 29 that the migrant crisis could spell the end of the European Union. Frederica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and VP of the European Commission believes that the inability of member nations to absorb the human tide is tearing at the very fabric of the EU.
The hijrah is not without its supporters in the United States. The Washington Post (9/2/15) published a piece titled “Europe’s Fear of Muslim Refugees Echoes Rhetoric of 1930s Anti-Semitism.” In other words those opposing Muslim “immigration” are compared to Nazis. Hollywood believes unfettered immigration is fine and dandy as typified by Emma Thompson’s rebuke of Britain as “racist” for not taking in more Muslims.
Question: What does Europe’s Islamic colonization imply about our own lack of security and federal policy of non-enforcement along our southern and northern borders? Let the reader decide before the US elections.
