DENNIS PATRICK: STOP TRUMP!
How many ways has Trump’s opposition tried to stop him? He has been disparaged, vilified, and survived an assassination attempt. Why the opposition? Answer: He is an outsider representing Americans tired of a pompous, intrusive, and commanding bureaucratic state controlling their lives and sending their youth into endless and pointless conflicts.
Start with “Russia-gate.” Special Counsel Robert Mueller investigated President Donald Trump regarding Russian interference in the 2016 elections. It was triggered by Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey which was construed as an act of obstruction of Justice. Mueller’s investigation ran from May 2017 to March 2019 at a cost to taxpayers of $32 million. Mueller found no evidence that President Trump or any of his aides coordinated with the Russians or committed election interference.
Special Counsel John Durham, appointed in 2020, investigated the FBI’s investigation into the Russia-Trump collusion matter. In the end, Durham concluded, “Our investigation… revealed that senior FBI personnel displayed a serious lack of analytical rigor toward the information that they received, especially information received from politically affiliated persons and entities.” There was no there, there. The FBI lacked “rigor.” Durham’s probe cost the taxpayers $6.5 million.
A hoax, claiming that Trump violated the Posse Comitatus Act (prohibiting use of military for law enforcement) following BLM riots, was not true. Trump had planned to invoke the Insurrection Act authorizing him to use the National Guard to quell riots under certain conditions.
Trump was impeached twice but never convicted. Impeachment I: On 12/18/2019 the House adopted two articles of impeachment, the first on abuse of power and the second on obstruction of Congress. On 2/5/2020 the Senate voted to acquit. Impeachment II: On 1/13/2021 the House adopted one article of impeachment, incitement of insurrection. On 2/13/2021 the Senate voted to acquit.
Claims were made by various medical professionals that Trump was mentally ill. Supposedly hundreds of medical persons signed Dr. John Gartner's Trump dementia petition. A House vote demanded that Vice President Mike Pence invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump. He declined. Trump passed multiple cognitive tests.
Hunter Biden’s laptop “Russian disinformation” hoax was a perfect example of a politicized bureaucracy. Fifty-one former intelligence officials claimed Hunter Biden's laptop looked like Russian disinformation. The group put out a dishonest press release to that effect. Subsequently, the corporate media deep-sixed the laptop story and never lifted a finger to investigate. Even when information was available, the media colluded with the Justice Department choosing to deny coverage. FBI used Twitter and Facebook technology to suppress unfavorable news. Mark Zuckerberg confirmed this before Congress 8/26/2024. Another hoax maintains Donald Trump was a Russian agent. Where did the media get that idea? The politicized intelligence community framed Trump as “Russian spy” subtly insinuating Putin was Trump's handler.
New York Attorney General Letitia James’s prosecution of Trump under flimsy and blatantly unfair charges (no victims, no monetary loss) before a compliant judge with no right to a jury trial (under New York law) was a deliberate attempt to bankrupt Trump. As a liberal activist she said, “Show me the man, and I’ll show you the crime.”
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg relied on an inactive federal suit involving Stormy Daniels and an alleged "hush money" payment by Trump. Bragg charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records (misdemeanors that Bragg conjured into felonies through a legally questionable maneuver) involving the purported “hush money” paid before the 2016 election. Case continues.
Fani Willis’s (Fulton County Georgia District Attorney) charged Trump and 18 co-defendants with 13 counts of felony racketeering based on alleged 2020 election interference. She appointed her sexual lover, Attorney Nathan Wade, as a Special Prosecutor to go after Trump. Both attorneys are diehard liberals with little integrity and a big ax to grind.
Special counsel Jack Smith pursued two separate indictments against Trump in federal court. Jack Smith #1: Trump was charged with mishandling classified documents – a misleading charge. Jack Smith #2: In this case, Trump was charged with conspiracy and alleged witness tampering in his challenge to the validity of the 2020 election and the January 6 demonstrations. Cost to taxpayers between April to September 2023 was $14.7 million. Cost between October 2023 to March 2024 was another $11.8 million! And what does Smith have to show for your money? Nada.
D-Day hoax story: President Trump allegedly said of WW I soldiers at a D-Day commemoration that they were “losers” and “suckers.” Wrong! Even left-leaning Snopes.com supports Trump’s denial. Biden perpetrated this hoax with an ad hominin attack against Trump during the 6/27/2024 presidential debate. Anti-Trump corporate media repeatedly reported this falsehood as fact.
The list goes on and on including “Five police officers were killed” at the January 6 “insurrection” (media lie); the murder of Ashli Babbitt (false); the 2020 alleged “missing ballots” (investigation dropped); FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago (intimidating search for a crime); Air Force personnel enroute to the Middle East illegally stayed at Trump’s Scottish golf course on per diem was a hoax; states barring Trump from ballots failed; Twitter purged of conservative accounts proved true.
The Ruling Class will do everything in its power to prevent a Trump presidency. So far nothing has worked. Certainly, the handwriting is on the wall. With a wealth of experience, Trump has every intent of gutting the deep state and freeing America from a growing authoritarianism.
