DENNIS PATRICK: UMP TRUMP CABAL
Question: What do King Louis XIII of France and Czar Nicholas II of Russia have in common? While contemplating the answer, the next few paragraphs will provide insight.
It is truly weird that several senior Republican Party supporters now reject President Trump as the Republican nominee for president in 2020. Some openly jump ship to support Joe Biden.
Reuters stated some former Bush officials formed a group called “43 Alumni for Biden.” It is named after our 43d President and on July 1, 2020 they launched a Super PAC. Before November this old Ruling Class will post testimonial videos lauding Joe Biden. Members will raise unlimited funds, run ads, and hold events for Biden. A Trump spokesman said this group comprised the very swamp Trump pledged to drain. As of July 1 the organizers stated they were not yet ready to name all of its members and donors. They must report the names to the Federal Election Commission by October. It will be interesting to know the names of the Republican turncoats.
The “43 Alumni for Biden” follows in the footsteps of an earlier RINO rebel PAC formed by George Conway (Kellyanne Conway’s husband) named the “Lincoln Project.”
Republicans declaring they will not support Donald Trump’s re-election include George W. Bush, Mitt Romney, and Cindy McCain. Gen. Colin Powell, George W. Bush’s Secretary of State and National Security Advisor, supported both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and has publicly stated he will support Joe Biden in 2020. So much for Party loyalty.
Critics are ready to reject Trump’s re-election for their own reasons. General Jim Mattis, former Defense Secretary, criticized Trump’s handling of the riots and the pandemic openly rebuking him in an Atlantic article for “dividing” America. Admiral William McRaven, a big supporter of CIA Director John Brennan, worked with the CIA on Joint Operations. On 10/17/19 he published an op-ed in the New York Times titled, “Our Republic Is under Attack from the President.” General Martin Dempsey, former Chair of Joint Chiefs of Staff under Obama, voiced support for rioters across the US. Vice Admiral Joseph McGuire, former Acting Director of National Intelligence, resigned after Trump rebuked him for allowing a subordinate whistleblower to testify before Congress. Admiral Mike Mullen, former Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, rejects Trump’s “racial injustice” but does not explain. He objected to Trump’s use of the National Guard in Washington, DC against “peaceful protestors” – as smoke swirled around the rioters. General John Kelly left his job as Trump’s Chief of Staff because of policy disagreements. He concurred with Jim Mattis’s Atlantic criticism of Trump as “dividing” America.
Other outspoken critics who are not expected to support Trump’s re-election include former National Security Advisor John Bolton, businesswoman Carly Fiorina, and Senator Lisa Murkowski.
Note how many of these people were associated with the intelligence community during Obama’s administration and the transition to President Trump’s administration. Recall also the intelligence community role in the attempted coup against Trump. From his election forward the objective was (1) to remove him from office and (2) replace him with anyone. All attempts to date have failed. The only recourse now is to defeat him in 2020 by any means.
Enter General Michael Flynn, Trump’s National Security Advisor for twenty-two days until his forced resignation. He was a threat to the intelligence community then and they wanted him out of the way. He was falsely charged in an FBI setup. At the direction of the Justice Department, and upon appeal, legal action against Flynn was dropped on 6/24/2020. He is still considered a threat to some in the intelligence community. He can identify names of those involved in the coup against Trump going all the way back into high levels of the Obama administration.
Democrats opted for Joe Biden as their nominee. No matter that he holds a weak resume. Biden is linked to Obama and Obama is still popular. Some think a President Biden might be convinced to resign due to age and mental health. His VP would rule the rest of his four-year term.
Or, maybe not. Instead, Biden could occupy the Oval Office for four years with surrogates exercising power. Decisions would be made in his name with his blessing and complicity. The country would be manipulated for the benefit of the Ruling Class, the elite – both Left and Right.
Answer to Earlier Question: Two historical precedents come to mind where heads of state succumbed to advisors. More could be identified. First, Louis XIII ascended to the throne of France in 1610. In 1624 he brought to his aid Cardinal Richelieu. Richelieu was an authoritarian who ruled for the rest of Louis’s reign supported by the monarch who gave his minister a free hand.
Second, in Russia in 1906, Grigori Rasputin befriended the family of Czar Nicholas II. Rasputin was a self-proclaimed holy man, a mystic, a visionary, and an otherwise religious charlatan. His high point came in 1915 when he gained overwhelming influence over the Czar and his wife. Rasputin was assassinated December 30, 1916.
In 2020, the stakes are high. Democrats prop up Biden and keep him in the race for a reason. If elected, moderate Democrats cannot hold the line. Powerful surrogate “advisors” from the far left, the socialists, and the Marxists will rule America.
