DUSTIN GAWRYLOW: N.D. TAXPAYERS’ ASSOCIATION - GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTHCARE

Bismarck, N.D. - Dustin Gawrylow, Executive Director of the North Dakota Taxpayers' Association issued the following statement late Sunday night:
 
"Just before 11 p.m. eastern time in Washington D.C., on a Sunday night, the United State House of Representatives voted to pass the Senate version of healthcare reform. 
 
Our Congressman, Representative Pomeroy followed through on his promise from this morning to vote for the bill.

He also broke his January 29th promise to vote against the Senate bill if he had a chance to do so."

"The people of North Dakota opposed this bill and the philosophy behind it.  Congressman Pomeroy ignored the will of the people, as well as his own previous declarations.  It will not be forgotten."
