LYNN BERGMAN: AN OPEN LETTER TO “NEVER-TRUMPERS”

It is no secret how deeply President Donald Trump is hated by many, but not all, Democrats. Read the book “Alienated America” to see why Trump won. It is a masterful explanation.

Trump's Record

President Trump's efforts to correct our trade imbalances reveal the Democrat party's lack of resolve to withstand any level of temporary economic suffering toward an even economic playing field for their children… on an issue that they have been complaining about for decades.

His eagerness to extract us from the middle east and its centuries-perfected barbarism has the left's propaganda machine, led by CNN, in fits of rage and indignation. Yet these same propagandists have spent decades subverting our country's efforts to bring civilization to a part of the world seemingly mired in the middle ages.

His tax cuts have set the table for a future filled with competitive advantage over the rest of the world. Yet resulting employment records among minorities are ignored and downplayed by the propagandists. These are the institutions that supported and applauded the “great society” for decades while it largely destroyed fatherhood and many of the families of those same populations. And facilitated the abortion of as many of their babies as would have doubled their voting populations today.

Prison reform that was long overdue has begun with the Trump presidency… yet not a hint of appreciation from either the Democrat party or is propagandists disguised as journalists.

Eureka

But I recently came to a startling realization that has probably not even occurred to Never-Trumpers: Democrats who hate Trump (and there are less of them every day that passes) largely because of his New York inherited lack of tact and unwillingness to back down from a fight… hate his mid-western Vice President even more! Let me repeat with emphasis… they hate Pence more than Trump, probably because they sense that Pence is a masterful salesman of the administration's achievements and future goals.

Elected Senate Republican Never-Trumpers, be careful if you are faced with articles of impeachment (the actual series of events that would first have to be officially begun with a vote of the full House and then openly investigated toward charges to be brought to the Senate, potentially followed by a Senate trial and finally, a Senate vote).

Were President Trump to be vindicated, the result would likely be a Democratic frustration akin to the Republican malaise that occurred following the Clinton impeachment vote favoring the “Teflon Don”. The Democrat party could be set back decades by its pre-meditated overreach begun under the Obama administration, its attempt to pull off a coup de'etat of a duly elected president. But if they were successful... the calm and controlled mid-westerner Pence would be presenting the extremely successful Trump record to voters in a respectful and carefully reasoned dialogue with the American people. And Republican, Democrat, and Independent voters would likely vote out many of the Senators that voted in the Senate for the removal from office of our President.

The real race for the presidency is between Trump and Pence in the case of impeachment, with the decision falling to the Senate. My political instincts tell me the only Democrat with a chance to carry a single state is Senator Amy Klobuchar… and the state she would carry is her beloved Minnesota.
