They’re at it again…the cowardly left wing isolationists.

I’m sitting back enjoying another stimulating discussion on the Charlie Rose show at 11:00 PM. Two women reporters are discussing the President’s options concerning levels of troops draw downs in Afghanistan beginning this July. Then the moment came when I threw my shoe at the television set and ran to my computer to write this piece. What was the “trigger” that set me off? The following statement did the trick:

“With the election of 2012 growing nearer and public support for the war in Afghanistan waning, both in congress and among the American population...”

So two know-it-all reporters have decided that “public support for our troops in Afghanistan is waning”. Well, that’s bulls#*t! Our fine young men and women on the front lines want the people of Afghanistan to keep their country, not give it away to two renegade organizations bent on keeping the entire country in the stone ages! And the Americans that I respect understand that “a commitment is a commitment”; that honorable people do not just drop an engagement for a more attractive “mission”. We can’t just wave a wand and turn our fine military into Acorn workers!

Thank God for the leaders in our military that understand that the words commitment, honor, and sacrifice mean something…and for the fine troops that sign up voluntarily to protect us from evil throughout the world.

And as for left wing reporters…they can all just go to hell.
