Peer pressure (being asked if they voted) is the primary motivation for citizens to go to the polls.

Anger is the emotion that largely determines who an individual citizen votes for.

So we might believe President Trump will loose in November 2020 because it seems most everyone employed by, elected to, or appointed by government, the media, academia, and the Democrat Party despise President Trump.

If you're a citizen of the United States, and if you love your country and its form of government, a democratic republic, and it's capitalist economic system that has made us the most prosperous people on earth, and have reaped the benefits of public or private schools, you are probably comfortable with the pledge of allegiance, the national anthem, and the singing of God Bless America during a baseball game… and you will likely perform your patriotic duty and vote when called upon to do so.

You probably appreciate our armed forces and the sacrifices made by our veterans in maintaining our basic freedoms.

You likely appreciate judges who rule based upon what the law says and not on what they personally believe the law SHOULD say.

You will also cherish you right to exercise your religion in your home, at your place of worship, or in the public square. The best part about being handed a religious pamphlet by a person on a street corner is the knowledge that that person is free to do so in the United States of America.

If you are such a citizen, I and most Americans salute you.

It has taken over a century for Marxists and Elitists to slowly erode our country's freedoms, morality and ethics. They have done so in a most resolute way, keeping the ultimate goal in the back of their mind while whittling away at our culture and values. They know that in order to replace something the original must first be discarded.

Now we are at the point in time when some publicly espouse infanticide at birth, placing it under the heading of “reproductive rights”. And this example is one of hundreds of instances where acts and beliefs have been misnamed and miss-defined on purpose to confuse. Whole eras of history have been rewritten to obfuscate and outright deny the truth.

As I grew up in the 50s and 60s I often heard the expression “If you don't like it here, go back where you came from!” Every instance of this expression, though, was in response to a relatively general and unfounded criticism of the United States of America, its people, and its culture. Not a single time did I witness the expression being uttered in response to the race, origin, sex, or any other individual trait of the person or persons who dished out such unfounded criticism of our constitution and democratic republican form of government.

The socialists as well as the communists among them (who always ultimately purge the socialists) have attempted to turn the United States of America upside down by every means possible. Yet the citizens of these United States of America appear to have finally solved the riddle. They are beginning to realize that the elitists are desperately joining the Marxists to retain their lock on power in Washington, DC that has brought this nation to the brink of bankruptcy. And they are finally ready to admit that President Trump is the only person who can, has, and will continue to “Drain the Swamp”.

Those of us who did not vote for president in 2016 now understand that President Trump has accomplished more for the conservative cause  than Republicans have accomplished in recent memory and will run, not walk, to the polls in 2020 to vote for the only man that has fought back against socialism, communism, terrorism, and globalism. And many Democrats are coming to realize that our President has brought us to a point of greatness that no amount of promised “free stuff” could. The restoration of manufacturing in the United States of America is starting to achieve fruition and anyone who really wants to work can now do so with the expectation of real wage increases (over 3% in the last year). As the rest of the world contemplates printing more money for social programs that do not work, we are at a true point of decision to end deficit spending by trimming wasteful programs and harnessing the economic power of freedom and individual responsibility.

So the next time a politician promises more government spending and free stuff, JUST SAY NO at the polls!
