You know who I'm talking about… those sophisticated “man/woman-of-the-world” charming beguiling charlatans who live in their own little imaginary intellectual deserts. The member of the vaccine review committee who votes against the majority on so-called “principal”. The members of the organization who decline to vote for the majority approved platform because of a problem with an included element they disagreed with and voted against. The “prima donna” kind of sensitive vain undisciplined person that every team sport coach dreads.

Let's reveal a few names: Colin Powell, Jeff Flake, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Cindy McCain, Bill Crystal, Lisa Murkowski. Please add a few of your own; there are more than a few to choose from.

These are not simply outliers or deviants such as RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) or members of the “Squad”. They take the extra step by openly campaigning for the other party. While they do not garner enough swing votes to make a difference, they represent a burr in the saddle, a pain in the rear end, a sore on an otherwise healthy skin.

When they honestly have had enough and leave the party, it points to their mistake in choosing the wrong “team” in the first place, but credits their ability to finally realize the error of their philosophical thinking. However, when they remain on the wrong team seemingly forever, one is forced to question either their intellect or honesty… or both.

In the case of the “Squad”, it is rather obvious that they come from an uneducated constituency that embraces restitution for vicarious victim-hood (which was honestly earned by actual long-dead generations but not necessarily by their modern-day descendents) and, in general, believes in “free stuff”, usually stolen from the evil “rich capitalists”. As such, they are tolerated within their ranks in order to secure the votes of their constituencies for the senate and presidency. But give the “squad” credit… they are slaves to ideology with no concern for pragmatism. It must be implemented… whether it works or not… to reach Utopia on Earth; and the more their twisted ideas fail, the angrier they become… The “Squad” has no other viable option than to seek election from a district where they mirror their constituencies. They will NEVER embrace any conservative ideas. The Democrat party is their only refuge.

The Slickers listed above are different than the “Squad” in their treacherousness. They know that their only hope of attaining public office is to remain a “Republican” without any serious attempts at understanding “conservatism”. Rather than making the effort to read the works of conservative giants of the past and present, they instead attack the vast majority of conservatives by focusing on destroying their leadership… or at the very least… looking down their noses at those they consider intellectually inferior. In short, they are the “students” that wish “graduation” without the study effort. Why do they feel thus entitled? Because they were either entitled at birth or they gained financial success in areas unrelated to true leadership. Can you say “Entertainment”, “Technology”, “Education” and “Journalism”? They are modern day “Royalty”. Let's make sure that the monarchy NEVER thrives in America… at any level. Become active in conservative havens such as the Republican Party where you have a chance to add to the number of “selfless” members and thereby make a difference for your children and grandchildren. There is no “Heaven on Earth”… but there can be a Heaven to come and its rewards are infinite.
