LYNN BERGMAN: WHY MARXISTS WANT TEN COMMANDMENTS REMOVED FROM GOVERNMENT PROPERTY
The Ten Commandments
- Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
- Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
- Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
- Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
- Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
- Thou shalt not kill.
- Thou shalt not commit adultery.
- Thou shalt not steal.
- Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's.
The commandment that Marxists fear most is the tenth, involving covetousness, the strong desire to have something that belongs to someone else. Synonyms are avarice, rapacity, and enviousness. Marxism is almost impossible to promote, distribute and sell without its characteristic appeal to “class envy.”
Without envy, an individual is not inclined to accept the use of the eighth commandment, “Thou shalt not steal” and the ninth commandment, “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor” by pillaging the industrious, distributing the spoils to the indolent, and falsely claiming that government (the graven imposter exemplified by the first and second commandments) was the benefactor.
Marxism is responsible for an estimated 160 million deaths since its invention in 1847 by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Its “ideological cousin” socialism is responsible for from 15 million to 55 million deaths.
Thus, the violation of the sixth commandment, “Thou shalt not kill” is also extremely integral to the implementation of communism.
Summarizing, the “Robin Hood Syndrome,” or stealing from the rich to benefit the indolent, involves the breaking of the first, second, sixth, eighth, ninth, and tenth commandments. It does not, however, stop with those six. The remaining four, when given some thought on their impact on society, are employed in abundance in furtherance of communism when one considers their potential for tearing society apart.
So, when one considers the above, why do you think only about 40% of women favor capitalism but about 60% of men? I surmised, in my last article, that the 80% of women in the field of medicine and 58% of women in state governments were the likely “point of the spear” that skewed the results for women. Since then, I have also come to believe that the ninth commandment’s use in referencing the “killing of the unborn” as “reproduction rights” may be part of the explanation. I would be curious to know what women think the reasons are for their skewed favoritism of socialism? Is it their envy of men themselves? That would not be very Christian… would it? And is that why Eternalists (the Marxist moniker for believers in an afterlife) are under increasing attack from seemingly all quarters?
