SALLY MORRIS: A LETTER TO IOWA
We stand in awe of Donald Trump, the most limber of all candidates. With breathtaking agility he flips, vaults and spins New York Values on abortion, immigration, gay marriage and gun-grabbing. His copious funding of Pelosi, Schumer and other liberal Democrats in the recent past, including the infamous Clinton Foundation (to get Hillary - whom he now describes as a treasonous, incompetent sex-abuse enabler) to his celebrity wedding is forgotten in a misperception of him as an “outsider”.
He trashed the First Amendment in Garland, Texas. He’s the thug with a heart of gold, delighted to sacrifice a little old lady’s humble home to his own grand designs through eminent domain while embracing the hard-working, courageous “ordinary” New Yorker when it’s useful. He tells a cheering Midwestern crowd he favors wind power development with emphasis on generous federal subsidies. What he doesn’t tell us is he is currently suing the Scottish government to HALT wind power. It threatens to inconvenience the wealthy patrons of his luxury golf resort in Aberdeen.
Trump says he’s “evolving”. Sounds like “revolving” . . . and he’ll revolve again if he’s sworn in. Then it will be his conservative supporters who win need to “evolve”.
