SALLY MORRIS: A MESSAGE FROM IRAQ - 2017
Today was supposed to be when we checked out our Ninth amendment. It is a very important amendment and deserves our full attention. However, today I want to bring you a video - a very brief one, but with a very serious message.
Many of our communities are very pleased with themselves in their smug decisions to bring “refugees” into their towns and counties and “resettle” them. Oh, how they glow in self-righteousness, how they have shown us all the way, how much better they are than those who have thought otherwise about the future of their communities and their children’s safety and freedom.
Some have decided not to resettle refugees within their communities - Beltrami County is one. Burleigh was going to be one but was bullied by silly local church groups into backing down on their decision. Beltrami was harshly scolded by someone we should all revere - Ilhan Omar, a mis-elected congresswoman from the metro area who is really too busy telling Beltrami County off and Trump off, to deal with her own massive issues - such as her adultery, her theoreticaly incest, her election fraud, her campaign fraud, her immigration fraud, her anti-semitism and her general lack of appeal.
We should not have brought Ilhan Omar into the United States. She, too, was one of these
“Poor refugees” from Somalia. She might not be a very good Muslim, judging by her personal behavior, but then, maybe it’s all forgivable taqqiya. Anyway, she’s not worried. On the other hand, we should be. Beltrami County has said “no” to refugee resettlement, but if the next county over says “yes”, it won’t help them much. You see, once they are here they pretty much move around as they like, whatever the original intention of the Immigration serrvices, Beltrami County, the State of Minnesota or the President. Once they set foot in America all bets are then off.
Now we come to a very short video. Shorter is better (as my critics tell me when they read my articles). Steve Gern is a former Marine and later a privates security contractor in Iran. Following the short-lived travel ban in 2017 he left Iran andwent to Iraq. There he encountered the on-the-ground attitudes of the “Muslim on the Street”. He had been working in the Middle East and has had a good deal of experience, both military and civilian, with the people we are asked to bring to America and “resettle”. He was rightly concerned with the idea of these people being brought to his country. You should watch this very brief video. It might be the most important six minutes you will ever spend. Especially if you never have to find it out.
Please view this more than once. It is important that you fully understand the implications. And then make sure your friends, co-workers, neighbors, pastor and especially your elected officials watch this. None of us wants evil to come to our families, our homes. But there is a simple-minded, willful ignorance about this. Someday these regions may eventually be free of the scourge (and I do mean this advisedly) of Islam. It truly is a scourge and a curse on the people there. We should strongly resist helping them spread it to one more square inch of planet Earth. It appears at this time that the people of Iran might be about to rid themselves of at least a rotten government controlled by Islam (and which uses Islam to control its people). One day this may not be an issue. There is no reason to reject a people, but very good reason to reject the religious/political system that they bring with them. At some time in the future we may not have to say “no”. In the meantime, we must all say “no”. The flaw in the President’s giving local jurisdictions authority to accept these people is that once they are here they are unlikely to remain in a given community. Devils Lake has said “yes”. Will this make surrounding communities less safe? That is highly likely. Even if they said “no”.
We can expect our Scandinavian-bred population to bend over backwards to accommodate the “new Americans”. Their cousins in the Scandinavian nations of Europe have done just that. Over the weekend Stockholm just experienced another explosion. Sweden hardly noticed. It is not that unusual there anymore. This would be a mistake. Sadly, once it is too late two things will happen, neither of which will help: 1) those who opposed it will say “I told you so”; 2) those who promoted it will live in denial that either there is anything amiss. And the destruction of our culture will go forward unimpeded.
It is now time to stop playing “holier-than-thou” and wake up. Staff Sgt. Gern probably has better, more current and more pertinent information than your local Lutheran or Methodist pastor. He undoubtedly can give you an update your local council should hear. Everyone needs to be aware of this. No one should have the option to cover their eyes today and then not be held accountable later. It is not too late to rescind these directives. Governor Bergum, I hope you are paying attention. I understand the North Dakota is among the patsy states who are asking for more of these riches from the Middle East. I would address Governor Walz, but I believe him to be anti-American, and therefore he would be pleased at the prospect of destruction of the American presence in Minnesota.
Steve Gern was fortunate. He found out first-hand about the attitude prevailing in places such as Iraq. It is the same in Somalia, in Syria, in Sudan, in Mali. In Iran it might be changing. Let us hope so. But few have had the chance to learn first-hand and returned to America alive. Usually no one has that kind of exchange and lived. So don’t waste the chance to hear a first-hand account that will inform your opinion on this. And be sure that you do not remain silent. Speak up while you can.
