We are fortunate and blessed to have some formidable heroes among us.  We have seen one in Charlie Kirk, of course, a young man who cared about his country’s and his children’s future and honored our past.  He listened, he argued for his beliefs, he defended them but he was no bully.  It always seems that the bullies are the ones who kill to stop speech.  If they can stop speech by arresting people, as in England, then they don’t have to.  

Today, Saturday, September 13, is an important day in the history of England.  We are now seeing an outpouring of patriotism and ordinary people coming together openly to defend a way of life and a set of principles they hold dear, hold dear after a terrible attack on them by their own “elected” government.  Tommy Robinson deserves the credit for this rally to the English flag.  And Canada’s own Ezra Levant gets much of the credit for bringing Tommy’s message to the public here as well.  Levant is one of the greatest heroes of free speech since our own Revolution in 1775.  He has crowd-funded legal armies to help Tommy and others at home stand strong for freedom.  He has provided a platform.  He has, on his own, been a fearless beacon for freedom, recognizing that without free speech we have nothing.

So today, the people of England, Wales and Scotland (their flags are all proudly flying there) have come together in the tens, perhaps hundreds, of thousands to make a peaceful statement.  Peaceful but firm and emphatic, that their country belongs to them.  One speaker said it well - they have nowhere else to go.  It echoed Churchill in a way - they will fight on the streets, the beaches, wherever they are, to protect their island.  One report says there are 110,000 free speech patriots and about 5,000 counter-protesters.  This is an important statement.  If the government has any sense left at all (and this is doubtful, based on recent behavior), the police will stay well out of the way and not attempt to quell this nor to arrest anyone peacefully gathered.  

Last week we saw Lola Moir, a 13-year-old girl, forced to defend herself with a knife and hatchet, after her sister was brutally assaulted in her hometown of Dundee, Scotland but an invader.  None of these cops helped her - in fact, hey arrested her for her attempt to avoid being trafficked!  It is inevitable that any decent British person will support this rally.

Levant is calling out the mainstream media which has literally betrayed the freedom of not only England.  This is a world-wide issue.  We have recently seen the mysterious deaths of some 11 political conservatives and opposition in Germany.  We see Paris burning - literally.  The EU seems oblivious, ploughing right ahead with their usual programs, most of all the importation of millions of third-world militants and opportunists to overwhelm the native populations of Europe.

So far, most of England’s opposition to tyranny has been serially betrayed, first by the Conservative Party, then by UKIP, now from Nigel Farage’s ego trip, “Reform” Party.  It is clear that Farage can’t wait to do his sleight-of-hand and make freedom disappear again.  Fortunately, there is an alternative to this fraud - Advance UK.  Let’s hope they will gain strength from this rally and prevail in Britain.  

The fall of evil governments, we know, is not enough.  It’s only a start.  What will save freedom (and freedom is struggling to live everywhere right now) will be the building of fortification to protect it - not just negative reaction against tyranny but positive energy in defending freedom.  Let’s hope that this will be the outcome of Robinson’s massive rally today.  If a man can come out of an extremely abusive life experience with the authorities, the tyrants, surviving hostile prison conditions, attempts on his life and months after months of solitary confinement and come before his people with the constructive. positive energy and love of his homeland that Tommy Robinson is showing, perhaps there is hope for a better future after all.
