In 2018, anticipating the kinds of meddling we have seen this year in our election process, although probably not the full extent, President Trump took advantage of the attack on his own candidacy and then on-going attack on his presidency, to issue an emergency executive order.  This order lay dormant and forgotten for two years.  If this sounds like the prologue from The Maltese Falcon, it should.  Its portent is far-reaching and we have now caught up to it.

Most people who read The Dakota Beacon are fully aware that our election process was deeply corrupted.  Few among them would hesitate to say they feel the election was stolen.  Like the victim in Murder on the Orient Express, the election was attacked by multiple actors and methods from every direction.  In addition to the traditional means of skewing an election - the old standby zombie vote, the double voting, the illegal and ineligible voting, things were complicated further by an ill-advised acceptance of the COVID-inspired idea of massive, seemingly (but not actually) disorganized and haphazard mail-in ballots, despite bipartisan advice which cautioned against mail-in voting because of the high likelihood of abuse.  Also despite cautioning from three Democrat lawmakers (including Amy Klobuchar) that the Dominion voting machines posed the danger of tampering with the vote count, 28 states bought the services of Dominion.  Notably, Texas rejected these machines because of their built-in issues with security of the vote.  

In the background was an interesting contrast - massive, monster rallies for Trump on airstrips across the country from New Hampshire to Arizona and Bemidji, MN to Miami, invariably drawing huge crowds of tens of thousands and rare sightings of Joe Biden, always behind sunglasses and masks, whisked by handlers out of range of reporters, holding infrequent “rallies” in parking lots or parks, his largest “crowd” under 800 souls, “calling a lid” every day - meaning no interviews - permitting no questions - and when a brash reporter broke through with a question of any substance, Biden would abuse him rather than provide any answers.  It was very weird to see a man campaign in this way for the office of President of the United States.  But many just chalked it up to his inability to keep a train of thought or form words on the fly.  No one who was thinking this would have considered voting for him in all probability.  As election day drew near everyone was expecting a turnout for Trump, despite polls which falsely suggested no support despite the millions who had come out to support his rallies throughout the season.  And through this time, also running in the background was a mostly covered up scandal which implicated Joe Biden in his son’s highly questionable and dangerous business dealings in and with countries considered threats to America.  This was largely kept under wraps by a complicit press.  Only those who looked for it found much about this.  And whoever looked at it considered it a grave threat to our national security.  But this was kept far in the background, covered up by the FBI.  

We have all heard, ad infinitum, the litany of challenges.  The president’s legal team immediately went to work gathering evidence of fraud - including over 1,000 sworn affidavits from official observers who were denied the ability to witness counting or look at ballots, some who were even threatened, as well as canvassing board members who were threatened - even to include threats to their children and pets - and numbers that just didn’t add up.  Sidney Powell and her associates, including Lin Wood, took a different path, seeking to uncover the presence of foreign interference through the Dominion machines.   Their witnesses, too, were threatened - one was beaten so badly that the person was hospitalized.  None of this made the purported “winner” look very solid.  

On election night, as the counting began, there was a weird coincidence.  In four key “swing states”, with Trump showing what would normally be considered an insurmountable lead, counting abruptly stopped.  The people on the sidelines who were supposed to be there to observe the counting and the press were sent home for the night.  A pipe supposedly burst in Atlanta.  This turned out to be a ruse.  In any case, mysterious things happened in the wee hours of the morning following the election, November 4, the result of which gave Biden a startling and illogical lead, with numbers spiking dramatically - but only for Biden - during this “downtime”.  People went to sleep Tuesday night with Trump holding an impressive lead only to awaken the next morning to a total reversal, with Biden strangely surging.  But only in four cities - Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit and Milwaukee.  Everywhere else his results were dismal.  But strangely, where they counted and were concentrated, and where counting had stopped the night before, suddenly and for the first time during the entire election season, Biden was popular.  

Then someone in Antrim County, Michigan, noticed something strange - a “glitch”, it was called.  Evidence showed 6,000 votes “flipping” from Trump to Biden.  It didn’t sound like enough to matter to some people.  But there really is no such thing as a “glitch”.  So how did it happen?  This threw open the door to the possibility of manipulation of the vote through a voting machine.  Through a Dominion voting machine.  This little 6,000 vote transfer turned out to be crucial.

So - who is “Dominion”?  It turns out that it is part of a sort of web of software (Smartmatic) and hardware coordinated and designed to manipulate elections.  It was created at the request of Hugo Chavez, the late communist dictator of Venezuela, when it appeared that he was about to lose an “election”.  Unwilling to let this happen, he had a system designed and implemented to ensure that he would not.  On election night, during the counting, the process stopped.  When it resumed, Chavez had won.  The rest is history, as far as Venezuela is concerned.  Under Chavez, almost overnight, that nation went from the top ten wealthiest nations on earth to a desperate nation of starving people, a lost economy.  As far as we are concerned, however, the focus is on the system which destroyed Venezuela - Dominion.  

Dominion was used in several other countries with predictable result.  Brazil used it and only the recognition of the problem by Bolsonaro brought it up short.  Countries less punctilious about elaborate election systems are both more volatile and also more able to take swift action in such an event - and so they did.  Other nations were less able to stop the manipulation.  South Korea managed to “elect” a pro-Communist leader through the offices of Dominion.

As all of this began making its way to the public, Dominion quickly shuttered its offices in Colorado and in Toronto,  The thieves were quickly folding up their visible operations, like one of the scammers in a Rockford Files episode.  Busted.  Meanwhile, however, the narrative became like a chant on the mainstream media.  Joe Biden was coronated “President-Elect Biden”, Trump, unwilling to let him get away with it, was portrayed as a childish, sore loser.  Seemingly oblivious that they were speaking of the President of the United States, a few commentators suggested he “put his big-boy pants on and concede”.  As the story grew and we began watching lengthy hearings in these swing states, hearing the testimony of citizens who told us what they saw - and this was only the general public.  The attorneys for Trump and the “We the People” team of Powell and Wood, as well as our military and intelligence were keeping the president informed on even more details.  Meanwhile the executive order from 2018 lay quiet and seemingly dormant as the tumult of the election played out.  More and more people began to boldly affront those who brought complaints about the election process, charging fraud.  Republican electors were physically shut out of the state house in Lansing, MI, on the pretext of fear of “violence”.  The city was shut down and the streets were nearly empty.  The barring of these electors was illegal.  Several states sent two slates of “dueling” electors.  

Significant also has been a near black-out of any discussion relating to any of these charges of fraud with regard to the election.  Youtube was perhaps the most aggressive of all - taking down and banning any such communication or sharing of articles which referred to dispute of this election.  We have never, in America's history, witnessed this kind of censorship - made far more important because most people have been prevented from gathering socially to discuss this or really anything.  

As attention finally turned to the 2018 executive order, continuing in effect, panic began to visit itself on some deep-staters within the intelligence services.  DNI head, Ratcliffe, said late yesterday that he would refuse to sign a report from intelligence which did not set forth the real threat posed by the foreign actors which had played a part in subverting our election process.  He was quite right to do so.  If our election process is corrupted we no longer have government by the people.  And corruption on this scale totally subverts the process in such a way that our republic could no longer exist.  

Last night Catherine Herridge (CBS) broke the story which will shake the nation - John Ratcliffe announced that there was confirmation of “significant foreign interference” in our 2020 presidential election.  He cited Russia, Iran and . . . China.  Now we will see another level of scandal unfold.  The executive order provides for severe measures - immediate sanctions against these (and any other nations named) and possible penalties against persons and entities involved within our country.  One must hope that Congress will take the appropriate action to avert further crisis before January 20.

The drama is only beginning for the “most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics”.
