SALLY MORRIS: BIG BROTHER TRUMP
When you send a Democrat to do a Republican's job you get this. This why I did not vote for Donald Trump and why I am glad I did not. My position was (and is) that the Republican Party had actual Republicans from among whom to choose a candidate. Trump had for years labeled himself a "Democrat" and had recently donated more than $100,000 to Hilary Clinton's slush fund prior to his nomination, beating out about eleven other actual Republicans of various degrees and stripes. One cannot expect a Democrat, once in office, to behave like a Republican, say nothing of a "conservative". If you, too, are a non-Trumpie who is sick to death of being lumped together with RINOs or other worthless brands of fake Republicans, here is a reason which will make you feel entirely justified in your decision.
Trump is apparently positively disposed to employ the technology of Silicon Valley to develop a "social credit score" like China's. Should we be all that surprised? After all, Trump has declared more than once how he admires strongmen and what great guys Xi, Putin and Kim Jong Un are. So even as we sit by and watch Hong Kong brutalized by this admirable totalitarian and see his handiwork in the Chinese social credit score system - a dictator's dream where by no one can even use an outhouse without an acceptable score - Trump is busy with his favorite daughter and other cronies developing such a system for us. And it is likely to succeed, too, because there are enough stupid Americans who no longer remember that we have a Constitution and a Bill of Rights, who are getting their tutelage from the likes of Rob Reiner and Deborah Messing, and will throw themselves off a cliff if someone tells them it will eliminate mass gun violence. Of course it won't. But who cares? It sure feels good to become a Kigme (some of you might remember the Kigmes from L'il Abner. For those who don't, they were creatures composed mainly of hindquarters and who loved more than anything in the world to bend over and be kicked.
America is finished. When conservatives rally around, wearing red caps, and cheer for the guy who wants to institute a social credit score system, we know we're done. Our founding fathers have been rolling in their graves for years now. They can stop. It's over. Read all about it here: https://summit.news/2019/09/04/trump-administration-considering-social-credit-score-system-to-determine-who-can-buy-a-gun/#disqus_thread and be sure to watch the video which is a part of it - especially those who are not familiar with what this system has done to the people of China. We are on the way there now, on the express train. I hope someone will wake up and stop this criminal. For that is what Trump is if he is even considering this. He certainly has no right to wag his short, fat finger at Ilhan Omar or Rashida Tlaib or American Jews who vote for Democrats for being "disloyal". No one could possibly be more disloyal to American principles than a man who would entertain the idea of a "social credit score". Better he just demand immediate confiscation of all firearms today than to open the door to such an ugly scheme as this.
"He'll never do this," you might say. "He would never get enough support from Congress." But if he even THINKS about such an idea he paves the way for the next Democrat, someone like Elizabeth Warren, to do exactly this. This is the problem when we elect a man who has never read a book, who has no intellect at all, no knowledge of our history or our system of government. Trump never felt he needed to know any of these things. Why? He had everything given to him. His natural instinct has always been to veer to the left. He always has and he always will. Big government has always looked good to him. It has served him well.
Maybe some of these senior Republican congressmen and senators are twigging to this. Maybe that is why we see so many "retirements". It is interesting that one of Trump's great admirers, Paul Joseph Watson, brings us the story. I hope he's learned something. I hope we all will.
I am very glad I voted for someone other than Donald Trump for President. I feel that that decision needs no further vindication. I hope those of you who either thought he was going to be a good choice and those "pragmatists" who sold your soul for the letter "R", will repent and call the White House and your senators and congressmen and sort them out. By the way, the number to call is 202-224-3121. Don't wait too long or it will count against your score.
