SALLY MORRIS: DIRECT FROM SAN FRANCISCO - A DO-IT-YOURSELF RANT KIT
Today's thought comes from Front Page Mag (Sara Dogan, Friday, Sept. 27, 2019). I've said it before and I am saying it again right here: If you have kids check up on your schools pretty much every week. Monitor your kids' assignments. North Dakota might be behind San Francisco, but everything that is out there finally shows up on our doorstep here in the remote corner of the Upper Midwest. If you find even a hint of this, get your kids and run for the door. In any case you need to get in touch with our Senators and Congressman and urge them to promote shutting down the Department of Education for starters. This horror story might just pertain to San Francisco but there are other evils in other places and we're usually paying for all of it. It's a good idea to ride herd on your local school board as well. If it sounds like they are trying to get federal funds for anything put a stop to it - that's my advice in any case. Anything that comes from the federal government comes from your pocket with a few stops along the way to pay bureaucrats. Keep it local. Okay- enough of my rant. Just read this and do your own rant.
