We’ve all heard about the “dog that didn’t bark.  Something weird happened at the rally in Washington.  Maybe a lot of weird things happened.   But one sticks in my own mind - the Atnifa crowd that “didn’t show up”.  A good friend of mine was at the rally.  When I heard he was planning to attend I mentioned to him that he needed to be extremely careful about Antifa/BLM activists who would probably show up and beat up the Trump supporters.  I was concerned because Trump supporters were not going to be armed with anything more than snacks.  He assured me he would keep his head “on a swivel” and be alert to anything amiss.  

What impressed you first about the million-supporter protest was the seeming absence of Antifa/BLM activists.  When Trump supporters gathered in Washington on November 15, they were very much in evidence.  They busied themselves as the peaceful, unarmed Trump supporters, many of them senior citizens, were leaving, by beating them up and stabbing them.  This kind of behavior was seen in other Antifa-rich areas such as Portland, where a Trump supporter was shot and killed in cold blood.  Yet on Wednesday, January 6, having had weeks of advance notice that Trump supporters would be coming in large numbers to the capital, there were no shields, no “black-block” attire, no BLM tee shirts in evidence.  Quietly, however, and with apparent police escort, busloads of Antifa activists were arriving, dressed as Trump supporters.  In fact, there is a screenshot of a phone message advising Antifa people to blend in but wear their MAGA hats backwards as an identifier.  (I’d say it was a weak identifying signal at best because many people just always wear these hats backwards.)  There was also video evidence of a security guard play-acting at “fending off” the people breaking in, and then effectively leading them to where they wanted to go, not appearing to be in the least afraid of them.  It was not convincing.  Add to this the voices of numerous Trump protesters yelling “They’re Antifa!” and trying to pull them away from the window.  This has all the appearance of a “false flag” episode.  And then a young woman, a Air Force veteran, a former high security officer and patriot as well as a wife and mother, was shot and killed, also in cold blood, as she stood in a stairway.  The shooter was reportedly “law enforcement”.  No reason seems to have been given for this apparent cold-blooded murder.  Some other people died ostensibly of “natural causes”.  

Yesterday I suggested that the intruders were basically law-abiding citizens and I still think they probably were, inasmuch as nothing was destroyed inside.  But, then, if Antifa were impersonating Trump people and patriots from the Midwest, would they trash the place as they would just being themselves?  We don’t know.  

What we do know is that this stupid and tragic event gave cover to a lot of cowardly mugwumps in the Senate and some in the House, who seemed almost relieved to have a little fig leaf such as this to get them off the hook as far as a vote against blind acceptance of a tainted election.  A number of these formerly “principled” leaders - among them Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Rand Paul (R-KY), James Lankford (R-OK) and Kelly Loeffler (R?-GA), the execrable excuse for a candidate who mercifully lost her seat the night before, to name a few, used this to claim it “changed their minds”.  Being Chicken Littles, it probably would do no good to ask them just how it changed their minds, but change them it did.  

There is nothing any different today regarding the egregious corruption that resulted in the in-your-face theft of the 2020 presidential election that was not there yesterday.  The question before the Senate and Congress is the same question as it was the day before:  will you support the subversion of our electoral process?  Now we know the answer - only seven Senators stood for election integrity.  The rest either opposed it out of hand or took the flimsy excuse of a demonstration outside and Antifa breaking windows to derail the whole discussion.  The people were cheated yet again, even as they awaited the airing of the evidence.  Well, that never happened.  Had someone turned a mouse loose on the Senate floor it would have had the same effect, no doubt.  “We must adjourn!  Order!  Get off the tables!”  And nothing more would have to be done.  Suffice it to say there is no reason and no logic behind the retreat by these quivering cowards from the debate and the discussion of the evidence.  They have their eyes closed and their fingers in their ears.  We are just left hanging out to dry.

Speaking for myself, and I do not doubt for most who want this discussion and to hear this evidence, all I want is to eliminate the illegal votes, regardless of whom they were for, and count only the legal ones, regardless of whom they were for.  If the majority of the remaining - legal - votes make Biden the winner, so be it.  Just as with Obama, we might consider it a disaster, but we accept this as part of the contract of government by the people.  What we do not accept is subversion of the people’s election.  We deserve to have the evidence revealed and evaluated by our Senate and our Congress.  Period.  And we deserve to see how they deal with it.

The President, who had admonished his supporters from the beginning to remain peaceful and respectful, addressed the public via Twitter after these incidents and asked his supporters to return home peacefully and deplored any violence.  For this he was locked out of his Twitter account and out of Facebook.  This kind of action, by the way, on the part of any media, social or commercial or any other, amounts to a terrible breach of national security.  We need to stop this abuse now.  

Meanwhile, even as the Senate and Congress decided to give debate of a serious matter a pass once more, maybe so they could refocus on the need for creative dance classes in Libya and the requirement that we pay for them, some interesting events are developing in Italy.  Rumors are flying around about the involvement in the Italian government and the Vatican in the Dominion scheme to steal the election for Biden.  While an alliance of the Communist Party of China and the Vatican might seem incongruous, these two entities do have a powerful agenda in common - we now call it the “Great Reset”.  We are awaiting more news of this but rumor has it that the government now has all the pieces of the puzzle it needs to make clear what happened and who did what.  And who actually won according to the actual election.  

Unless Newsmax shuts everything down or is interfered with, President Trump will address the nation with an important message at 8:00 CST.  Maybe we will get some answers.  Maybe more questions.  In any case, he has allowed the entire election process to play out - he has sought the judgment of the courts and they refused to look at any of the evidence.  He has made pleadings to the state legislatures and the legislatures, while wishing to do something to right the matter, have been seemingly powerless to do so - Arizona’s legislature subpoenaed the Dominion machines but the counties refused, placing them in contempt of their state legislature, while the state legislature of Pennsylvania asked for a delay because they could not in good conscience support the reported election results as they were not possibly correct.  All to no avail.  He asked the Vice President to step in. The Vice President had not the moral courage to allow for an investigation and instead facilitated the fraud further.  Things have played out in the civil realm as far as seems possible, absent some sort of legislative or judicial miracle.  Now we will see what happens next and maybe some of what lay behind this ugly chapter in our history.  Maybe it can be set straight, maybe civilly, maybe not.  Let us hope for the former.
