SALLY MORRIS:  IS OUR LAW STILL RELEVANT IN AMERICA?

If we are to believe the stories of two independent first-person sources, our Supreme Court is a sham and its justices need to be impeached and shamed for both their perversion and their cowardice.  Two separate sources have reported that Chief Justice John Roberts was heard by them, screaming from within a closed room, demanding that the other justices vote against hearing the important Texas lawsuit and perhaps thus settling the festering question of who our president will be.

We should not be shocked at either Breyer or Roberts voting this way.  Same with Kagan and  Sotomayor.  What should truly shock us and shake our faith in our institutions is the absolute craven cowardice of Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and the now despicable Amy Coney Barrett.  The latter is particularly disgusting considering the big front she put up in convincing us all that she was impermeable to scandal and blackmail.  She has shown herself not only not to be leader material, not deserving of a place on the Court, but a glaring example of extreme cowardice.  Only two of our Supreme Court justices displayed the competence and character we should demand of our Judicial branch - Justices Thomas and Alito.

This is not - repeat, not - a partisan issue.  What we needed was for an independent, nonpartisan body to determine just what went on with the “irregularities” which directed the apparent outcome of our national election.  It was clearly within the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court, being brought by one state against other states.  There were obvious questions of law involved, constitutional questions.  It is revealing that only two justices, considered to be “conservative” were in favor of simply looking at the evidence here.  What are the others afraid of?  Seeing something under their noses which reveals wrongdoing?  Obviously Barrett, Kavanaugh and Gorsuch are merely moral and physical cowards who don’t belong on any bench anywhere.  They acquiesced in abandoning their sacred duties to the people of the United States, who entrusted them with our legal system.

If this body had been independent of political influence, if they were the dispassionate and objective body they were intended to be, and which we deserve, what possible reason could they have given for not hearing this case?  If the evidence were not convincing or complete, they could have found against Texas.  They obviously were quite sure that the evidence was damning and that they could not ignore it if they let this case in the door.  As to the screamer, Roberts, we now know, thanks to a leaked telephone conversation between him and Justice Stephen Breyer, that he (Roberts) was going to see to it that Trump was not re-elected.    His desperate motive for his frantic screaming at other justices, and his demand for an in-person face-to-face meeting to quash the suit, is clear - he fears that an airing of the case and revealing the evidence would result in Trump being sworn in for another four years.  The same basic point of view is obviously shared by Breyer, Kagan and Sotomayor.  They are clearly partisan and should not serve if they cannot set this aside to hear a case on its merits.  What is most disturbing and puts us on notice that we no longer have an independent Judiciary is the cowardly behavior of Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett - a trio of absolute, textbook case poltroons, so easily intimidated by a ranting, out-of-control Roberts, and the sad thing is they were all nominated by Trump.  Perhaps Trump is trusting because he is politically honest.  But it is a dangerous trait.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, in Arizona the election commission has point-blank refused to honor a subpoena by the Arizona legislature for data and voting machines used in the presidential election which is in contention at the moment.

Pause and think about that in view of the earlier topic - a breakdown of our legal system.  A state legislature has the power to subpoena information or witnesses.  The election commission is actually in contempt of the state legislature at the moment.  The commission is suing the state legislature to protect its secret balloting system and data.  Does this raise any eyebrows out there?  I have a simple solution which I would strongly urge the Arizona (or any similarly situated) state legislature act upon.  I would say, “either cough up the stuff we subpoenaed - OR - we automatically decertify this election and appoint electors on our own.”

I would suggest this approach to any state legislature that is being stonewalled on this.  There is obviously no question that this election was thoroughly corrupted.  If it were not, these commissions and Dominion itself would comply with the LAW and with such a subpoena AND our Supreme Court would take an objective and non-partisan look at the evidence.  It is mounting up higher than Mount Everest.  It is time to crack this mess open and have a good, hard look at what’s really going on here.  The evidence from Michigan’s Dominion machinery should be enough on its face to convince anyone with a brain.  Even if you want Joe Biden, you can no longer believe that he was elected fairly.

These are the lessons of 2020:  First we must correct this hot mess of an “election” and throw out the illegal votes.  Or if we are denied access to the proof, we must assume that the proof is that the election was rigged and the outcome is false and act accordingly to swear in the person not cheating.  The other lesson is that we must never, ever use anything but a paper ballot system and hand counting, precinct by precinct.  This is very manageable.  And no more unsolicited and unverified absentee ballots ever, ever again.
