SALLY MORRIS:  LAST CALL FOR LETTERS TO ND SENATE!

Tomorrow, April 1, the North Dakota Senate will conduct a hearing regarding Bill 1323, to ban mask mandates in the state.  This has become necessary to protect those who choose not to wear a mask for whatever reason - whether health, safety or any other reason.  America used to be a free country.  The only way to get our freedom back, it seems, is one state at a time.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has set a good example for our state governments.  And his state is thriving compared with most.  The citizens of Florida remain relatively free.  On the other hand we have also seen some terrible examples of state government - New York and California stand out in the wretched category, and the result there is a mass exodus and economic disaster.  It is another demonstration that freedom brings prosperity while tyranny brings both misery and poverty.  But the free people of North Dakota shouldn’t need that lesson.  It has been proven throughout history.

Yet, here we are.  Despite the fact that North Dakota ended its ill-advised statewide mask mandate some time ago, various self-important, overreaching city councils throughout the state simply took it upon themselves to become dictators.  In several of our cities and towns the tyranny persists.  Grand Forks is typical.  Despite no convincing evidence to support the idea that masks can do anything to protect against this virus, despite overwhelming evidence suggesting that they are not only unhealthy but dangerous, these city councils, feeling a surge of power in the vacuum, are continuing to force this on citizens.  The result has become the most hostile social climate, dissension, the anticipation of unpleasantness on the other side of every business establishment’s door, the expected confrontation with the local vigilantes and the door-guard mask police.  Workplaces continue to “require” employees to submit to this, despite the health hazards involved - hazards the city councils either don’t care about or haven’t taken the trouble to learn about before they decided to force people to wear the masks.  So the working people get to stand for hours, working, wearing these suffocating masks.  Here is what it looks like - a representative of a teachers’ union urging support of a school mask mandate:

I think of the people who are suffering from this.  Schoolchildren are one group which suffers more than the average - a child’s lung capacity is smaller, forcing him to breathe deeply - breathing in the loose fibers and microscopic particles in the mask materials.  Children are wearing masks in dance classes.  Dancers must exert themselves physically, even the little ones.  But in a mask?  This is cruel and inhumane.  Companies specializing in selling dancewear are now marketing “nude” facemasks to sort of “blend in” on stage.  They come in a couple of shades.  The effect is to show the person with only half a face (just like in real life now), appropriately mute-looking.  Here - take a look for yourself.  And then think of the teacher seated at her table in the video above and imagine a little girl struggling to perform in this.

No child should be subjected to this - it is not only humiliating but downright dangerous.  Kids have died while playing or exercising vigorously in a mask.  And yet, because North Dakota simply ended a statewide mandate, a little girl in dance class in Grand Forks will be forced to wear them.  It is child abuse.  And it is no better in school.

Unfortunately, people who do not do much physical work are making these decisions for the rest of us.  No one wants to prevent a consenting adult from wearing a mask, however ineffective.  And while banning the mandate at the state level is a step in the right direction, I would have gone a bit further had I drafted the bill - I would have banned the use of masks on children.  Period.  Because they haven’t the capacity for informed consent.  Be that as it may, this bill - Bill 1323 - is a very important statement.  It says that the people of North Dakota are taking back their freedom.  We need to let the North Dakota Senate know that for all of these reasons - health, safety, common sense, freedom - we support banning mask mandates and ending the tyranny of small minds and small governments over us.  If you think it’s no big deal, you might not be someone who wears a mask for 8 or 9 hours a day while doing physical work or standing in a retail store or waiting tables in a restaurant.  You might be thinking you are not affected so it’s all ok.  If so, you might not realize the harm you are doing.

People who think they have become acclimated to wearing a mask and that this means it doesn’t harm them are wrong.  Just as people who smoke don’t think they are feeling any decline in their health, people who wear masks are damaging their health, day after day, hour after hour.  It may take time, but the damage continues to be done whether you know it or not.  People cling to talismans that make them “feel safe”.  These are delusions.  We should not all be governed by the delusions of some.

This is a great step.  It's a good beginning.  The fight will continue.  If you want to hear more about the battle, watch this:  https://www.bitchute.com/video/PTyPJTG71efR/

Please take advantage of this brief opportunity to stop this madness.  Email every North Dakota Senator and let them know - we need to ban the mask mandates!  Do it today. Tomorrow will be too late.
