Never in our history have we seen such censorship of our news and even our personal communication.  “Big Tech” is robbing us every day of our legacy of freedom.  Or do we have a “legacy”?  Sure we have a Constitution, but it is ink on paper - it is not our vital essence.  It takes on meaning only when we fight for it.  As Ronald Reagan said:

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.

So, how willing are you to fight for it?  Would you put your life on the line?  Would you mortgage your home and business?  Risk your job and career?  These are tough questions.  What if you could help with only your checkbook?  

Here’s the problem.  One of the key ways in which we are losing our freedom in America is through censorship.  How can the majority of Americans act intelligently and in their interests and in the interest of freedom if they don’t even know what is going on?  This is where our alternative sources come in.  

If you think that we are in trouble in America, think about our cousins in Canada/  Under the totalitarian dictatorship (bet you didn’t know that!) of Justin Trudeau, the press has become the organ of the government.  I do not kid you .  This is a matter of fact.  How was this accomplished?  Well, again - through the power of the exchequer.  Trudeau’s government offered the press a lot of money - in fact they offered to make the press their permanent mistress - with the money collected in taxes from the people they intended to hoodwink. All that was required was that they not criticize Trudeau or his government.  All but about two news outlets eagerly took the money.  And it is a lot of money.  As far as I know, only two news outlets refused the money and kept their self-respect and their independence - True North and Rebel News.  

But this is not a “Canadian” issue.  Our common enemy is transnational.  We are learning this day by day.  Ezra’s fight is our fight.  He is one of our trusted soldiers in the fight for freedom and the search for truth.  When he takes on the enemy of freedom in Canada he is fighting against our enemy as well.

If you are a regular reader of mine, you have heard of Rebel News before.  They have often provided details of American news stories before we get them from our own sources.  The founder of Rebel News, Ezra Levant, has been crowdfunding for worthy causes for quite some time now.  Among his projects has been funding to get Tommy Robinson counsel in England (for the few who don’t know, Robinson is a foremost spokesman for the victims of rape gangs in the U.K.) and recently the many whose freedom has been stripped away by various unreasonable and illegal lockdown orders.  His reporters are intrepid - they go to the belly of the beast to bring back the real truth.  It can be hazardous - some of them have been assaulted, sometimes they have been incarcerated unjustly, but they get the story for you every time.  

Levant has not only kept Rebel News Network going, he has published a number of books - books which the government tried to prevent the people from seeing - which Amazon has banned.

Today we learned that someone bought Rebel Media’s loan and called it.  This means that by the 28th of December Ezra Levant/Rebel Media needs to come up with a lot of money, and then by January 28th they need to come up with the rest.  The total is enough to put most of us out of business - over $380,000.  Canadian, presumably.  So after years of funding other people’s legal cases to help ensure justice for many, Rebel News needs some help right now.  If you are looking for a way to help preserve freedom, I would strongly urge that you support Rebel in their time of need right now.  Remember - every American dollar goes a little farther in Canada.  Please do consider helping out on this one.  If Rebel News did not exist we would have a much darker world in terms of the information available to us.  

Stalin had a pretty solid lock on his country - one might wonder how he so totally controlled the people of Russia.  He managed to literally get away with murder.  He sent intellectuals to the gulag, he committed genocide on others.  He figured out right away what his focus must be - total control of the means of communication.  Control of the press - like the control Trudeau aspires to.  Well, surprise!  Trudeau admires totalitarian dictators.   The thing is, Ezra Levant does not cover only Canadian stories.  He also covers a lot of American news you might not have heard elsewhere.  He supports freedom wherever it flowers.  He has correspondents in Australia, in the U.K., he has appeared on Tucker Carlson as well as other well known American outlets such as Alex Jones.  He never shrinks from telling the truth.  

If you want to light a candle in the darkness, consider making a gift to Ezra Levant’s cause of freedom.  Perhaps if enough of us do our small part we can keep the pipeline of truth open.  When we are deprived of the truth, of the real story, we are no longer free, by definition.  I hope you can help.  Times are difficult, but can you spare $50 or $25 or even $10 and you share this with others and ask them to do the same, we can create a blaze of freedom of information and knowledge.
