Mike Lee has a brief video in which he discusses the First Amendment with fiv-year-old Sawyer. It seems like a great idea. While you explain our rights to a child you are accomplishing a lit of things at once - teaching him that he is an American with God-given rights that he must use and defend, somethng about how he came by these rights through the leadership, courage and vision of our founders and as an added bonus you get a refresher yourself! One day Sawyer will be casting his vote or even running for office himself. Isn't it good he's learning at age five how important our freedoms are and that they must be rigorously defended? Do this for someone - your own child or grandchild or someone else's! Remember these kids are bombarded with propaganda. People are ready to tell them to be ashamed of their heritage, that there was somethng "wrong" with our founding and our way of life. By even exposing a child to another view we give him an opportunity to discover the truth. Please watch Senator Lee's presentation and share it! Let's make it a point to spread the word every day.
