        America has been a phenomenal success.  Our vast economic engine has often rescued a foundering world.  Our military has defeated evil and turned back aggressors all over the globe.  We have declined to establish an empire, choosing rather to see other countries governed freely by their own people.  We’ve stood for peace through our strength.

        America has provided a haven for the ‘tired, the poor, the teeming masses”, by the Light of Liberty beside a Golden Door.  Most of our ancestors came here seeking opportunity and a better life.  They came to become “American”, to participate in this effort and success.  America has welcomed them all – every race and religious faith.  As the newcomers became Americans they accepted others.

        Because our nation, firmly founded on freedom and capitalism, has been so profoundly successful and its people so basically decent and innately generous, an attitude has developed that America belongs to everyone, to the rest of the world.  IT DOES NOT!  It belongs to AMERICANS – those who have invested in the American Dream, accepted the responsibilities it implies, whose fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, have sacrificed and died for it.

        Those who want to be a part of this great enterprise called “America” can be accepted only if they renounce other national – or “one-world” – affiliations and interests and accept America.

        We must recognize the wolf and close the door to illegal aliens and repatriate those already here.  Let them apply again – the right way.  We need to define HOW one becomes an “American”.  There is a misperception, resulting from our ill-considered treatment of the issue, that because a child is born on our side of the border, to foreign nationals here illegally, that he is automatically an “American citizen”.  This is not correct.  These are children of non-American criminals.  They and their outlaw parents must go home.  Deportation, not amnesty, sends the right message.  This is not harsh.  We don’t have reason to believe these people will be mistreated in their homelands.  It is merely the way any sane nation defines its borders and defends its national integrity.

        We have also in our midst a growing foreign nation, a nation of Islam, owing allegiance to an aggressive, alien theocracy founded upon a mission of world domination.  Faithful, practicing Muslims have a religious duty to dominate or destroy adherents to any other faith and those who tolerate such diversity.  That would be us.  These people and the religious/political philosophy they advance are incompatible with America and its cultural heritage of acceptance.  They do not want to enjoy the way of life America symbolizes; their mission is to erase it.  The Muslims, inch by inch, are insinuating Shariah law into our banks, our courts and the daily life of America.  They demand acceptance of culture and customs repugnant to the West.  They want to feed on our prosperity but they don’t want to accept the civilization which created it.  They constitute a cancerous tumor in our system. These people continue to prove their intolerance of America.  They cannot, by definition, assimilate.  If they cannot, they, in turn, must not be accepted here.  A look at what has happened in the Netherlands will show us all we need to know about the incompatibility of Islam and Western Civilization.

        America has, for far too long, acted contrary to our national interests.  As a consequence the weakened fabric of America is weakening world peace and safety.  We must put our house in order.  America must be, first and foremost, the land of Americans and American values.  If we fail in this, American will no longer be the beacon of light which has beckoned the hard-working, forward-looking, courageous pioneers who have powered this great nation.
