SALLY MORRIS: THE RAMPING UP OF A WAR-BY-PROXY
Is our little exercise in war-by-proxy going too far?
That is a very serious question and one that had better be answered sometime today. If what our military intelligence is bragging about is true, the United States committed an unprecedented act of war against Russia. No, really. Our government is bragging that it was US intelligence which enabled Zelenskyy's government to sink the flagship of Russia's Black Sea fleet, the Moskva. This is an act of a belligerant nation, an aggressor. We have no declaration of war from the Senate here. This is a rogue act by our military. And our president*. When the US has gone to war in the past it has generally been on a direct provocation, such as the Pearl Harbor attack. We were pulled into WWI through the sinking of the Lusitania, a civilian cruise ship. We got into the Spanish-American War because our press hyped up the sinking of the Maine (now considered to have been a very suspicious incident).
We did not do the blowing up or the sinking - at least not officially. Now we have. The fact that the Ukrainians pulled the trigger to launch the missile is but a technicality. If they were being directed by the United States military based on US military intelligence, it amounts to a US attack on Russia. Joe Biden is doing this, or his handlers, shadowy, unelected, anonymous puppeteers, are doing this. What it is likely (and intended) to produce is a full-blown war for the first time between the US and Russia.
What else can be the result of this? What does the US do when one of our ships is blown up? (See above.) The question for the rest of us - who did not “elect” and are not operating the puppet named Joe Biden - is this: do we want to risk a nuclear attack from Russia? Remember - it would be an attack in response to our attack, not an “unprovoked act of war” against us. It would have to be a defensive move against an unprincipled aggressor - the United States.
It could very well mean a return of the draft and sending tens of thousands of young Americans over to fight in Ukraine or some other irrelevant place. Irrelevant to these young Americans, at any rate. And to their families. This is no longer about Ukraine and their storied “fight for democracy”. That doesn’t exist and it has not existed yet. This began as western powers using and manipulating a simple-minded actor, Zelenskyy, to provoke an invasion by Russia and is now lurching dangerously close to a very serious conflict between the US and Russia. This has been the Biden* government’s plan from the beginning.
For a while it must have looked to the unscrupulous CIA and other neocons in the DoD and State Department as though peace was going to plague them for generations. Trump’s foreign policies had kept China in a corner, had kept Russia from feeling they could insult the US, had limited and might have eliminated the threat from Iran, had forged some constructive alliances in East Asia and had done what has been the Holy Grail of diplomacy for several generations now - peace in the Middle East. We were wondering what Miss America contestants were going to tell us was their life’s goal. Prosperity was eliminating conflict in many regions where previously it had created tension. When people are productive and can provide well for their families there is generally less ambition for war.
We have leadership that must be brought to account for this. If we allow Joe Biden to continue to play President we must accept that we are responsible. If Russia does not respond to this attack, this insult, Putin will face some serious questions from the families of the dead sailors, from his own people. Biden's handlers cannot pretend not to know this. They are driving an unwilling America into a war it never contemplated and does not want with Russia. Let’s hope all of the dupes who have been dressing up in blue and yellow, sporting little Ukrainian flags on their lapels and bigger ones on their front doors will be ready to go to war and to send their sons and daughters into battle. Because that is what this stupid, mindless, reckless attitude has delivered to us. And consider this: has America ever been in a worse position to prosecute a war? Our most experienced and dedicated military personnel are being cashiered simply for not taking a potentially deadly or disabling injection, our failed leadership has just made a display of a disraceful disorderly retreat from Afghanistan as our most recent contribution to the annals of military history. Why should we be confident? The first rule (and one ignored by the fool Zelenskyy) is not to start a war you can't be sure of winning. Someone really ought to tell Biden's handlers this.
It has never been about the people of Ukraine. If they realize what is going on they would be right to curse the United States and its corrupt and depraved leadership. We should as well. The Number One enemy of the United States is not “domestic violence” (although BLM and Antifa are trying to make it so), it is not even Bidenflation or our destroyed southern border. At the moment, all of this has been eclipsed by a looming war with Russia. If we are to serve America’s interests and the interests of the American people we will oust this stealth dictatorship - legally if possible. We know it is not legitimate. Those who clung desperately to that claim must now explain D’Souza’s 2000 Mules. Not to mention Dominion and its part in this scam.
Just as Putin will have to have an apology or something from the US, the people of the US must have something from the Biden camp on the election. We cannot pretend or go on pretending that the 2020 election and this president* are legitimate. We just cannot. We cannot defy the law of gravity, or the solar system or that water is wet. This administration* is not legitimate and quite likely it is not acting in the interest or at the will of the American people.
