Does anyone out there ever wonder why there are concurrent pushes for seemingly unrelated objectives?  I mean - we have a perennial campaign by certain segments of the population to grab our guns.  Well, some of us understand this well enough - it is an effort to disarm law-abiding citizens and is marketed to us as some sort of anti-crime initiative.  Many will fall for it - and the first step is always the easiest to take - registration of our guns.  There is no reason for anyone to have a record of law-abiding citizens’ guns.  If it is a criminal we want to stop we won’t do it by keeping records on those who don’t commit crimes.  But it will be very useful when the time comes to make us outlaws for owning them, when we are ordered to turn them in.  So, if it’s not criminals or terrorists we want to stop (and come on, people, we all know that the way to stop gun crime is for more law-abiding citizens to carry guns!) then what, exactly, is it?

Publius Huldah has some valuable insight in this area, and her informative discussion of the USMCA Trade Agreement offers some answers.  This agreement, designed to destroy America’s sovereignty and render the United States into a state within a “European Union”-type super-state, lumping us with two far-left governments, Canada (Trudeau) and Mexico (Obrador).  We would be tied to them with a common monetary system and the people of the United States would lose their hereditary right to self-government altogether.  

So if it is unconstitutional, why is this going to be a problem for us?  There are a couple of reasons.  One is that no one in our  government seems to care about the Constitution. In fact it would be shocking if more than 2% of our federal legislators have even read the 20-page document that is supposed to guarantee our freedom, that our forebears have defended in two world wars and won through a bloody revolution.  We can be quite sure that our president has not read it yet.  If anyone out there is interested, it’s free!  Just look it up on the internet, there is no excuse not to be completely familiar with our Constitution.  

The remedy that has been decided upon, and cheered along by pseudo-conservatives like Mark Levin, is a constitutional convention, or euphemistically termed an “Article V Convention”.  The latter term is preferred these days because a lot of Americans might not know what that means.  If you don’t you should familiarize yourself with this before it is too late.  Under no circumstance should we tolerate an Article V convention or, also euphemistically put, a “convention of the states”.  I won’t go over the reasoning why we shouldn't’ here because I have many times before, but the convention of states (COS) is necessary to make the gun grab and the “trade agreement” (which is no trade agreement, but rather a surrender of American sovereignty) “legal”.  When you find out that you have lost your country without a shot fired, without being aware of what has happened, you will wish you still had your gun.  It will be revolution time all over again.  

The Chinese pandemic has sidetracked us and we have become distracted from ongoing movements intended to end American sovereignty.  I strongly urge that all who read this contact your congressmen and senators and let them know in no uncertain terms we must resist the implementation of this terrible agreement.  America must not be allowed to become another of Mr. Trump’s fiascos.

There are some things he has done right, but perhaps by accident.  This one thing would be enough to make anything else he has done worthless.
