SALLY MORRIS:  THE WAR WITH CHINA

We have a serious problem in America.  Well, we have had one for a very long time and we now all know we have it.  I’m referring to the invasion of our country by the CCP - the Chinese Communist Party.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihDXRoMwVTQ

How did this happen?  Back in the 1970s China, reeling under the hopeless misgovernment of Mao Tse Tung, gained the beaming approval of President Richard Nixon.  He apparently took a look at a map, saw that China’s mainland was bigger than Taiwan and - poof! - suddenly the free Chinese government seated in Taiwan, was replaced by CCP’s Beijing, as Nixon recognized Beijing’s government - Mao’s - instead.  This was only the beginning.

A very good friend of mine, when I mentioned this huge mistake, many years ago, told me, “Well, a lot of farmers made money - it made the farmers happy.  They sold a lot of wheat”  He would have known first-hand because he, too, was a farmer.  In time other segments of our economy found joy in this as well.  Manufacturers could just transport their production to China and take advantage of the slave labor over there to cut costs and to import cheap goods.  Then the consumers enjoyed it because they figured they could get a formerly $10 item for $7.  What’s not to love?  Well, the problem with all of this is that had this been people’s mindset in 1776 we would be singing God Save the King today.  A general sense of morality is absolutely fundamental to any kind of free government by the people.  We have to be above this.  Right now we are in a position where almost anything we pick up in a shop - a luxurious sweater or purse, a pair of shoes, a tee shirt, a child’s toy, a tool of any kind or electronics - is likely to have been imported from China.  We have a lot of work to do.

We discovered how vulnerable we are when we finally noticed during the covid threat that all of our pharmaceutical products and medical supplies are coming here from - guess where? - China.  Which reminds us - we allowed so-called researchers and scientists to take their little sideshow over to China because they could sidestep our laws that protect our citizens and they could just pursue their felonies in Wuhan and other such places.

China has been very aggressive of late - their Belt and Road Initiative has taken over ports and whole nations around the world, controlling their governments and policies, not only trade but all political activities.  We have sat by watching the daisies grow while this has been going on.  In fact, America has been not only permitting but encouraging the importation of Chinese workers and “scholars”, the latter through the Confucius Institutes found in our public schools.  Another good friend of mine extolled the virtues of a lovely young Chinese woman who was teaching the kids in their schools out in Oregon, all about China and Chinese “culture”.  She would have been here on a very probationary basis - no one would be allowed to come here on a work or scholarship basis if they do not have family back in China.  This is how these people are controlled and why they continue to do China’s bidding.  And of course we should understand that these teachers’ mission is to indoctrinate and influence our children to accept China’s will and “values”.  Chinese university students are only allowed out of China in order to participate in studies for the benefit of China.  This would include stuff like nuclear development or . . . virology.

One of Joshua Phillip’s (of NTS Crossroads) earliest forays into investigative journalism was an exposeé of the manipulation of people within Chinatowns throughout America.  We can choose to ignore all of this and either pretend to be too sophisticated to give it credit, or too lazy and absorbed in anything from business to football to fashion, but if we are intelligent we will be very concerned about this and we will support efforts to stop this.

We hear a lot about TikTok, but what about the propensity of city governments coast to coast throughout America - such as the one in Grand Forks - that believe their brief is to bring in “big business”.  Grand Forks very nearly ended up with (get this) a “corn” processing facility (Fufeng) right next door to our air base.  This was supposed to be a brilliant move by our city council and Mayor Bochenski.  What a coup.  Thank goodness someone in the Air Force put the cork in that one.  China has been buying up farmland, seemingly in competition with Bill Gates.  One wonders which would kill us all first.  Florida has banned the Chinese buy-outs (so far they have not yet banned Gates - I don’t know what is holding them up).  All of the states should be doing this - including North Dakota and Minnesota - and we should never re-elect someone who has been trying to engineer these projects.

One of our enemies within is Tim Walz.  This guy, as a teacher, was escorting young kids over to China to learn all about the glorious Chinese “culture” and “way of life”, building great connections and relationships with China.  Our greatest threat.  Our enemy. So the current governor of Minnesota is a big advocate for China - he is, in fact, a de facto Chinese asset.  (Not surprising, when one of Minnesota’s 8 congressional districts is represented by Ilhan Omar, a criminal - and an asset for Somalia by her own admission).

We could stop electing Chinese (and other foreign) assets to public office.  We could stop for a minute and recognize that at least in a de facto sense those who are attempting to bring Chnese “business” into America and into our communities and reject them as well.  But everyone seems to be more concerned with his own pocketbook.  “It’s good for business,” is the main issue.  The guy who sold the Chinese his land by the air base would be an example, but so would all of the various vendors throughout the community that viewed Fufeng as a whole new market for their goods and services - a big profit.  As long as we view everything this way, ignoring the fact that our country is at stake, the Chinese will keep winning.

We could make a start in MInnesota this week, in fact.  Walz has called a special session in order to deep-six our Constitution and 2nd and 14th Amendments.  It would be justice served, if instead the lawmakers use the opportunity to call for his resignation.
