The President was referring to his grandfather, who raised him in Hawaii along with his grandmother. He obviously considers the man that most influenced his early life to be a “father”.

Well . . . we don’t really KNOW who Barack’s father is, do we?  We have never seen a birth certificate.  There are several ways in which he COULD be telling us the truth, but the problem is, they’re not compatible with each other.  Example:  Barack’s parentage could be far different from what we’ve supposed (that he was born to a white mother in Africa to a native African black father).  So this could be true.
He is known to have gone to college on a foreign student program.  He could have been truthful in his application if the above is true, but if it were true that he was born in Hawaii, as HE has maintained (with a straight face!) then that application would have been fraudulent.
Suppose he was born in Hawaii to a young white mother and his father was an already absentee native African.  How does this jive with the known fact that the mother only eleven days later was in Washington State, enrolling in the university there?  That was not normal - not now, nor even back in 1960.
If all of this were innocent, then why has Barack spent $8 million on preventing us from seeing a birth certificate?
One explanation that would fit the above, possible (at lease mathematically) is that Barack’s mother was a black or mixed race woman and his father was his alleged mother’s father - in other words, the young white woman who we’ve been told was his mother was, in fact, a half-sister.
Now, does any of this matter?  Not one bit, except for this:  We don’t care (or at least I don’t) who his mother or his father were, what color, etc.  But Article II of the Constitution of the United States of America stipulates that the person serving as President be native born.  So if the actual fact is that he was not, then he is not eligible to serve, knew it and committed a crime in lying about it.  If, in fact he lied instead to get into college cheap, this says volumes about his character.  He’s either lying about who his father is or obviously lying about his father’s service during WWII.  So the best thing is to listen to all of us over here, yep, that’s us, in the tin-foil hats, who are demanding that we FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION AND EITHER SEE A BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR THIS MAN WHICH PROVES HE’S ELIGIBLE TO BE OUR PRESIDENT OR THAT HE STEP DOWN AND FACE CHARGES.  There were good reasons for making this provision in Article II a central part of our governing document.  This man’s ambivalence about Americanism is a good illustration of the folly of ignoring that determination, and proves the rightness of our Founders to include it.  If we do not hold to the letter of our Constitution in this, none of it will hold.  So, yes, here once again, is another instance of Obama’s duplicity and another look at the lie that is his life.
I believe that with the apparently weak-wristed Congress we have now our best bet is for each state to enact and enforce strict qualification before anyone’s name is put on the ballot, just as they must require voter ID at every polling place.

Conjecture is the fuel of investigatory journalism.

Imagination is the alcohol additive that soups up the fuel.

Makes us all anxious to see what happens at the end of the 1/4 mile run.

Does Obama win the 2012 race or does his rail flame out or blow a tire and crash?

Perhaps it depends on all journalists working both together and separately to light up the Christmas tree and get the run going.

Without a quick race the pending result tears at our belly.
