We saw a hint of shortage a year-and-a-half ago when people were stocking up "due to covid".  It was unsettling to say the least - shoppers getting into fights over having too many packages of toilet paper in their carts, grabbing at the last one on the shelf.  Same with soap, etc.  Well, you remember.  That was an artificial shortage - the result of a panic on the part of shoppers.  What we are in for this time around is something a great deal more serious and once we feel the effects of it, it will be a long and difficult task to return to anything "normal".  Like most of our problems this is the fault of our government.  Which means, of course, YOU.  You are the government.  It's America.  So when the government screws up it's because we let them.  Always remember that.  When we allow them to take the wheel and we know they don't know how to drive it is no one's fault but ours.  We need to say no.  Take the scissors away from the two-year-old before he runs down the hall with them.

It’s silly to think the non-sequestered jury wasn’t influenced by the intense media propaganda and implied threats to life, limb and family. It all made a difference, just in Rittenhouse’s case, thankfully, not a life-rending difference.  

But the teen already has been abused. First by the mob last summer, and then later by the system — for the process is the punishment.

Rittenhouse, and America, were failed by the perfidious prosecutor; the pusillanimous judge; the malevolent media; the depraved Democrat Party; and, to a lesser extent, the dithering jury.

Kyle Rittenhouse was, praise God, acquitted. But he did not get a fair trial.

Many of us have become cynical when it comes to our courts and the rule of law.  It's not surprising.  The events of the past three weeks have served to provide some encouragement, however.  Some of us - myself included - really half expected that fear of mob violence would have more to do with the verdict than the facts of the case, and the lengthy wait for the verdict fueled our fears.  The case of Kyle Rittenhouse has raised many questions and they demand our attention and some answers.  Why was this young boy doing the job the police are paid to do?  What happened that he shot and killed or injured three men while trying to help the innocent victims of violence?  What should we expect unless we address these questions?  The case might have finally ended for Rittenhouse - at least the criminal trial.  He may well go on to a number of civil suits.  He has become a symbol for the push back against violence. 

We are in a precarious position right now.  We are at a planned stage of devolution of our society.  There is no real law in many places.  Our families are threatened by not only violent mobs but also by the government we have instituted to protect us.  Our rights are dissolving before our eyes as we are batted back and forth between these two extremes - the police state and the mob.  This is all intended, of course, and we are better off knowing this in order to shepherd our country back onto the rails.  If we don't we will either suffer the violence of blood-thirsty, mindless mobs or the cold steel of government tyranny.  It's all a game.  We need to know what the object is.   

And who the players are.

Our Founding Fathers would be so disgusted.  Look at the criminals we have elected to public office.  Our Constitution, may it rest in peace, called for a government by the people, through the states.  The federal government''s function was to provide national security by protecting our borders, to negotiate treaties with foreign countries, to regulate, as necessary, international trade.  It was never intended to run our schools, our economies, to involve itself in policing us.  Our state governments were responsible for these functions.   Sadly, many of our state governments have allowed rogue governors, such as Newsome, Cuomo and many others, to destroy, rather than help to protect or foster prosperity of the people of their states.  One of the absolute worst is Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota.  Today we have learned another dimension of his deceit and manipulation.

I was shocked to learn that there was a price tag on the Salvation Army.  Apparently they find it worth their while to dance to the tune of Joe Biden and his horrific "vaccine mandates".  Maybe the spanking they got a couple of years ago from Chick-fil-A tamed their spirit.  Whatever the reason, they are no longer icons of piety and beneficence.  They no longer epitomize tolerance and open-heartedness.  They are now the "new" Salvation Army, the go-along-to-get-along folks.  Don't let their stiff uniforms or their winning smiles fool you.  They have found their feet now.  They march to the drum of the pharmaceutical companies that run the government, the doctors and the rest of society.  So the Salvation Army is no longer exceptional and no longer worthy of our respect.  I am profoundly disappointed.  Please share this with anyone you know in the Salvation Army.

When we were kids and science was still being taught in school, we all saw charts similar to this one.  It illustrated very simply and straighforwardly the unbreakable link between plant and animal life and how they are interdependent.  Turns out there isn't enough money in that reality, so other theories needed to be invented.  We got nonsense from the doomsday squad, led by the totally untrained and mis-informed blob, Al Gore.  He wasn't alone, of course, because soon enough a lot of opportunists figured out from watching him how profitable the so-called "green" agenda could be.  "Green" is another example of "Ministry of Truth" language.  If we follow the dictates of the "green" advocates - beginning with their central bug-a-boo, carbon dioxide, we will soon have very little actual green left - most of the "green" will just be in the bank accounts of Gore et al.

It has happened before and it might well happen again - that decent people will take only so much and will, when they reach their limit of tolerance, stand up and call to account those who have abused them.  We did this in 1775 in America.  The shot was "heard 'round the world".  It was a signal that tyranny would be challenged and finally defeated.  It happened in 1946.  The world turned sick of these filthy tyrants who had been responsible for the savaging of Europe, the deaths of so many millions, and simply held trials.  Then the nations who had had enough of the abuse of tyrants drew up the famous Nuremberg Code - which said, in effect, "Never forget.  Never again."  And the respectable nations of the world signed it.  Not until the past two years has the West been so tested.  We have a new crop of tyrants and abusers - Bill Gates, Klaus Schwab, Anthony Fauci and his Chinese government accomplices, Joe Biden and his whole administration.  These felons must now be held to account for world-wide economic collapse, millions of deaths and unthinkable suffering - delivered by means of the "vaccines".  The whole "pandemic" has been a big show - a magic show, if you will:  watch this hand.  Many were taken in by it, some still are.  But the tide is finally turning for these abusers.  

Inflation is a rising concern in America today. Recently, some top officials at the Federal Reserve have attempted to portray today’s higher inflation as a good thing. Is this the case for the United States? In this article, economist Dr. Mark Hendrickson explores some of the economic theories being discussed and refutes many of the claims. He writes, “In this fairy-tale view, the experts are saying to simply let inflation rise–that is, let the purchasing power of our currency erode at a faster pace–and we will avoid economic pain.”

This is NOT about the efficacy or the safety or the desirability of this or any other vaccine.  It is very stark - it is a matter of who owns our bodies.  If it is us, we have freedom.  It if is anyone else - the government, an employer, an institution of some kind, medical, academic - then we have slavery.  It cannot be put any other way.  Those who have freely chosen, for better or worse, for their own reasons, to take these injections also have an obligation to protect the rights of those who have chosen otherwise.  And they should remember that it isn't over for them.  Today the "fully vaccinated" will find that tomorrow, when the next "booster" and the next, and the next, and the one after that, comes on the market, they will be no better than "unvaccinated" until they are "current".  It is never going to be over, we will never see "normal" again.  The price we are being asked to pay for "beating covid" is too high.  Way too high.  It is everything we have and everything we will ever have and everything future generations (if any there be) will have.  All for "covid"?  How did "covid" - an illness with a 99% and better recovery rate - manage to turn us all to jello?  An interesting question - perhaps one future archeologists and anthropologists will study some day.  In the meantime, the sane left among us must fight back.

Let’s talk “equity” versus “equality.” Previously, The Passing Scene gave glancing overview to these words alluding to a false sense of equivalency between both terms. They do not hold the same meaning especially in contemporary parlance.

Society’s casual acceptance of word meanings clouds the legal ramifications of public policy. Blurring word meanings is an old tactic used to fuel social change.

Unless you think NJ Democrats suddenly had a Road to Damascus moment — and if you do I have some great oceanfront property to sell you in North Dakota — you can bet that the left-wing fraudsters have been hard at work stealing votes for the remarkably corrupt and fairly stupid Murphy.

The Trump administration oversaw a growing positive influence around the world of a resurgence of American strength after eight years of Obama's apologies for American success.  The Middle East was arriving, at long last, for the first time, at peace, with Israel and its Muslim neighbors signing peace accords and rogue states such as Iran greatly reduced, marginalized in their influence.  We were finally addressing the theft of intellectual property by the government of China, we were forging strong alliances in the Pacific area with then-free nations.  Suddenly with the arrival of a befuddled, spent old man, within a year we see a total melt-down.  China is now making aggressive moves against other Pacific nations, notably our long-time ally, Taiwan, a bastion of freedom, peace and reason in the region.  Our supply lines are disrupted with imminent food shortages.  Our kids are being indoctrinated in our public schools with racial hatred, our border, finally coming under control with the Trump administration, is now wide open and millions of unvetted foreign nationals are surging across and then being transported at our expense across the United States.  The man who is posing as the "President" of the United States reportedly got lost several times on his recent trip to Europe and ended up by having a bathroom accident in the Vatican in the presence of the Pope (or what now passes for a pope).  Yesterday he outdid himself.  Having corrupted the health of our military last month, he has now made it "official".  He has issued an edict that all employers with 100 or more employees will be fined $14,000 for each worker not vaccinated.  This simultaneously violates not only every single tenet of the Nuremberg Code, but most of the first ten amendments to our Constitution- the Bill of Rights.  Never mind that it means we have lost all of those rights and are no longer free.  It's to fight a bad cold.  It's to fight off the flu, don't ya know.  

We are in deep trouble here.  We are witnessing the immediate and on-going destruction of our country in real time and all at the hand of the most incompetent fool ever to hold office in America.  The time to take action is at hand.  We must not comply with this and we must push back very hard unless we are to sentence ourselves and all future generations to nothing less than slavery in perpetuity.

We are being manipulated.  We are being forced into hostile camps solely bvecause some of us do not believe that the so-called "covid vaccines" are either effective or safe.  We are being asked - no, ordered - to allow someone to inject us with highly toxic and unknown substances on faith (in Dr. Fauci!) alone, not on good, sound scientific data.  In fact, the data would have any reasonable person running the other way.  One would think that this decision would be a personal one, made perhaps in consultation with one's own physician, based on science and good outcomes in tests, but this is not the case.  We are rather shamed, bullied, pressured and threatened.  First it was bribes - lottery tickets, college tuition, tickets to sports events, free donuts, free liquor, free weed.  When those so easily brought to heel had gotten their injections, the push went to social pressure (do it for others, do it so you don't kill Granny), then it went to coercion and blackmail (do you want to keep your job?) and we shudder to think what the final phase will be.  It's time for us to set aside our beliefs regarding the safety and effectiveness of any "covid vaccine" and rather stand together for freedom and sovereignty over our own bodies, for without that, we are simply slaves.

The crisis in our schools is not of recent making - it has been simmering for a very long time.  Of late, however, parents are becoming belatedly engaged in the issues which are absolutely vital to our nation's future.  Instead of providing our kids with quality education and academic excellence - for which taxpayers pay at an absolutely astounding cost - our schools have become a sort of kiddie red-light district, where the skills they are taught include male "fashion" shows, lap dancing, exercises intended to confuse kids and accept "transgenderism" as normal - leaving our kids vulnerable to rape in the school restrooms.  They are used instead  to gin up activism and organize kids in a socialist agenda, to foment a new wave of racism.  In the meantime, kids are not learning our history, they are not studying math, they are not encouraged to employ critical thinking but rather to accept, rote, the pronouncements of increasingly biased teachers.  They are subjected to physical abuse and forced into masks.  They are manipulated to disrespect parents and family.  They are already being coerced into forging parents' signatures in order to get state-organized vaccinations.  They are encouraged to seek abortions without parents' consent or even knowledge.  Yet they are often not being taught how to read.  What is going on is just the culmination of decades of neglect by parents.  We need to have a complete overhaul not only of our schools, but of our priorities.  There should be no higher priority than our kids' characters and souls.  

The Mayo Clinic, long famed for its excellence in medical treatment and the qualifyt of its staff, has decided to abuse that staff in the interests of gian pharmaceutical companies.  I guess that was easy.  On the one hand they balance their reputation for quality medical care and on the other the bag of quarters on offer by the drug companies.  Slam dunk decision there.  Only it is one which will be profitable in the short term only.  What the drug companies and the medical enterprises fail to consider is that they rely more on their reputations than on anything else.  Mayo's has spent a fortune of grandiose buildings.  Rochester is always under construction.  But it is their reputation alone that brings in the patients, the customers.  They come for the best doctors, not the fanciest buildings.  When this is sacrificed for a perk from Pfizer or Merck or any other pharma giant, in time the excellence of the staff will inevitably decline.  The people will seek serious medical care somewhere else, where the doctors' training and experience are more important than their toadying subservience to "the man".  

We seem to be sleepwalking into the end of the republic.  Normally intelligent, reflective people have been taking the poison injections now being "mandated" in a Jonestown-esque devotion to "medical science" and government, we are gaslighted every hour of every day, told that black is white, up is down, good is bad, bad is good.  We are ordered to accept absurd mantras such as that you are "selfish" if you opt for self-preservation rather than having a poison injected into your body "for others".  Our school children, most of them masked, are being drilled to hate each other and themselves because of the color of skin they were born with.  Parents who object are "terrorists" while people who burn down public buildings and businesses and obstruct traffic are "activists".  If we protest any of this we are "insurrectionists".  Republicans are worse than Democrats - North Dakota's Senator Cramer thought it was a great thing that a thug in the Capitol Police shot and killed a veteran in cold blood.  It should be becoming apparent, amid these many crises that America is under attack, that no one is coming, deus ex machina, to save us and that we as individuals may well be the only defense America has left.  It is now up to us.  It's up to us to guard our children, to hold the line on our Constitutional rights, finally to defend America at the grass roots.

We are being lied to.  We are being gaslighted by every mainstream media outlet, by our government - by Biden, by Fauci.  And the lies are insulting.  We are being told to wear masks to protect the vaccinated.  We are told the vaccines are effective.  We are told even though they are effective we need booster shots.  We are told they are safe for kids when we are seeing huge numbers of teenages falling by the wayside with myocarditis.  Then we are told that myocarditis is curable.  It isn't.  We learn from experts that it causes permanent damge.  But in the face of this tragic damage (experts who actually do know tell us that people with this condition cannot expect to live more than about 11 years) and death, Biden comes on our TV screens, with his ghastly grimace and tells us we must inject children 5 years old and up with this poison.  It is relentless.  It has become clear to most of us otu here that if it resulted in 100% immediate deaths this would not change the "necessity" to inject 100% of us with this.  Gaslight.  We are told that the unvaccinated are a threat to the "rest" of the country.  Yet the hospitals are full of the vaccinated, not the unvaccinated.  Lies.  Gaslight.  It is time to stop this.  Some of us go along with these lies because we want so bad to believe in a "solution" to what we believe is an insurmountable threat.  Both premises are lies.  Covid is a relatively mild illness that causes very few deaths.  THe draconian solutions on offer do not provide protection, only more harm.  Gaslight and lies meet wishful thinking and self-delusion.

For a little background, this is an example of the chickens coming home to roost for the feminist clucking hens. We’ve long had a Title IX-based standard in the United States dictating “that members of the underrepresented gender [“sex” is the proper word, do note] be permitted to play on teams provided for the overrepresented gender or that separate teams in that sport be created for underrepresented gender,” as the Women’s Sports Foundation puts it.

From a practical standpoint, this initially meant that girls would be trying out for boys’ teams, not vice versa, as decades ago there were few if any athletic endeavors in which females were numerically dominant and male opportunity was lacking. But this has changed, and feminists have soured on “equality” now that it less often means “special advantage.”

None of these deaths or injuries we are hearing about following Covid-19 injections have anything to do with the "vaccines"!  Haven't you ever heard of "coincidence"?  Stuff just happens.  You can be walking down the street in perfect health, like Andrew Breitbart was, in excellent health and the prime of life and - hey, you can fall over dead from a heart attack.  It happens.  It has nothing to do with the fact that you have announced revelation of some damning evidence against powerful people the next day.  That is pure coincidence.  Or you could be a key witness in jail about to spill the beans about some luciferian activities of some important dignitaries and awaiting further court action you could suddenly just decide to hang yourself with a paper sheet.  Stuff does happen.  People do become depressed when they have sizzling evidence to unveil.  Waiting is hard.  That banana peel on the floor was just there - it was only a coincidence, wasn't it, that you stepped on it and face-planted in the linoleum?  And all those witnesses we might have heard give testimony in the JFK investigation, they, too, met with coincidences.  These things are mysteries.  There is no relationship.  Cause and effect are much overrated.  When we see a greater number of deaths from a given vaccine than from all other vaccines put together since 1990, that has to be a coincidence.  What else could it be?  It's anecdotal.  It's just a coincidence.  We should not live our lives ruled by reaction to coincidence like that.  If we put a hand on a hot stove it's just a coincidence that we get burned.  If we dive into an empy pool from 30 feet and crack our heads on the concrete below and die - gee, that is a coincidence.  Our society has basically eliminated any link in logic between cause and effect.  So don't be afraid.  Be "responsible".  Get your jab today.  Remember the jab you take today could have a coincidental relationship with a life-destroying injury or even death, but it's for the rest of us.  Do it for us.  

We saw this in Ireland in the 1840's.  We saw it in Russia - first the Kulaks then the Jews.  We saw it in Turkey - the Armenians.  We see it in China - with the Uighars.  The classic example, of course, is Hitler's Germany.  In America it was the shameful Tuskeegee experiments on black men.   Now we are seeing genocide in Canada.  Well, maybe we should not be so terribly surprised.  The Canadian government has never viewed the indigenous peoples as an asset, quite the opposite, despite a lot of rhetoric to the contrary - just look at their actions. through the centuries.  The government of Canada has now run amok, imposing a virtual dictatorship on the people of that miserable nation.  It is becoming Cuba only with a horrible climate. 

Canada has descended into a dark night of totalitarianism.  Christian pastors are being persecuted, businesses are being closed, people are suffering across the nation in the hideous blackness of a fascist society.  Now there is evidence not only of an effort to exterminate the indigenous population - always a problem for Canada's government - but of the fact that the "vaccines" are an instrument of extermination, two very important facts that the current actions of Trudeau's Canadian government illustrate in stark black and white.

Earlier this week, the House of Representatives approved a $480 billion raise to the nation’s debt ceiling. This resolution will allow the federal government to pay its debt until December. This move comes as Congress debates a large $3.5 trillion spending plan. How is America going to pay for this? In this article, economist Dr. Mark Hendrickson examines the spending plans and the proposed tax increases to pay for them. He writes, “It is plain that all the talk about making the rich pay their fair share is hollow rhetoric, cynically designed to win support from advocates of social justice while doing nothing to meaningfully reduce inequality.”

Even as the evidence becomes clear and irrefutable that the covid "vaccines" are ineffective and dangerous, our government - which is supposed to serve us at our will - is becoming a tyrannical power attempting - without authority to do so - to force people to take this dangerous and experimental injection!  What happened to America?  In the space of less than two years we have gone from the country that stood for freedom and human dignity to a hellhole that is threatening us and our children - threatening us with loss of our livelihoods, our professions - our homes and busineses.  We have been forced to behave like slaves for the past year-and-a-half while these power-mad dictators spend all their time concocting more schemes to subjugate us.  Instead of listening to them we should be listening to responsible people who actually know what they are talking about.  Is Jen Psaki an expert?  On anything?  Joe Biden?  And as for Anthony Fauci, his expertise is on monetizing a man-made virus to the max and that is just about all he cares about.

The U.S. Senate recently proposed legislation that would increase regulations for charitable giving through donor-advised funds. If it passes, what does this mean for donors? In this article, veteran fundraisers J.B. Horton and Jeffrey Trimbath examine the bill and argue that taking control away from donors would harm nonprofit organizations. They write that the new regulations will, “increase the cost and administrative burden on philanthropists and their advisors, ultimately reducing the total amount that goes to charity.”

As federal “change agents” seek public compliance using edicts and the White House exerts intimidation through executive actions, it isn’t working. The American people do not take kindly to being “ruled.” They didn’t in 1776, and they don’t in COVID times. Our observations confirm this.

The pandemic becomes useful to the government policy control freaks. As the saying goes, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.” With the Biden administration the pandemic now stands officially endless. In the minds of our high government “leaders,” only through more control will the COVID scourge end. Lock down, close down, vaccinate, masks. In any case, the feds seek a firm reign over a docile population with the hope of gaining even greater control.

Getting through the pandemic would mean going back to normal which is something Democrats, Progressives, liberals, and the media only pretend to wish for.
