DENNIS PATRICK: REBEL WITH A CAUSE
Mainstream media, left wing media, corporate media, big media – different names for the same elitist press that regards itself as the fourth estate but serves as a fifth column. CBS, NBC, ABC, CNBC, CNN, NPR, PBS, New York Times, LA Times, Chicago Times – the list goes on.
Corporate media no longer practices journalism as once known. The giants clearly align with the liberal establishment regardless of politician, candidate, or cause. It no longer “speaks truth to power.” It became an unchecked power in itself.
Corporate media today serves to defend the Ruling Class and the administrative state. Big media regards itself as part of the state, the unelected fourth branch of government. No longer are they suspicious, curious, doubtful, or distrustful of government. They see themselves covering the flanks of the Ruling Class and protecting the powerful.
Most major “journalists” have a “disposition” problem. They think of themselves as nonpartisan watchdogs when in fact they are just the opposite. They are leftist operatives posing as journalists.
Calling all rebels! Reject corporate media. Reduce their patronage. Demolish their ratings. Slash their advertising revenue. Boycott them. Discard the premise of their policies. Find alternative sites.
Alternatives! Aha! Alternatives! “Alternative” suggests competition. Competition corrects, culls, and purifies. The last thing corporate media wants is competition. Competition – a beautiful thing. New social media sites are surging. No censoring within limits of the law. Here are examples of web pages and streaming sites.
And, by the way, be aware of pejorative terms used by Wikipedia to describe these sites. Anything conservative raises the ire of leftists. Invariably any site right-of-center incurs the brand of “racist,” “white supremacist,” and “extremist” manufacturing “conspiracy theories.” Don’t fall for the lies. You are better than that.

Reality check. The mainstream media became its own antithesis. A new alternative media, with the help of technology, emerged to replace it as a synthesis of its old self.
