North Dakota Joins Multi-State Lawsuit Challenging Individual Mandate Provisions In Government Healthcare Law
This morning, we get word that North Dakota Attorney's General Wayne Stenehjem has announced that the state will join the lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of certain provisions of the new government healthcare law which force individuals to buy certain kinds of insurance or face fines or prosecution.
Over 500 North Dakotans have signed the North Dakota Taxpayers' Association's petition in support of this action.
This action by the State of North Dakota to defend the rights of its citizens is a first step in reducing the counter-productive provisions of the new government healthcare law.
