JOHN TRANDEM: PRESIDENT TRUMP OFFERS PLANNED PARENTHOOD FUNDING IF THEY STOP DOING ABORTIONS

In a well-considered maneuver, President Donald Trump offered Planned Parenthood a deal they couldn't refuse; but they couldn't accept it either. It has been reported that the President offered to leave the abortion giant's funding in place if they simply ceased to perform abortions and abortion-related services.

Planned Parenthood and their advocates routinely claim that abortion constitutes only 3% of the services they provide and that their focus is on women's health issues such as cancer screening and STD testing. If they are being honest, they would seize the opportunity to continue providing those services with the help of the taxpayers to the tune of half a billion dollars each year while only sacrificing a meager 3%. But here's the rub, the 3% number is beyond disingenuous and is touted only to bolster their reputation as concerned women's advocates. The reality is that Planned Parenthood would cease to exist without abortion. They are the definition of "Big Abortion" and have been called "the Wal-Mart of abortion". The way they arrive at the 3% figure is akin to a bank stating that they are in the charitable food services business because they give out 300 suckers a day and only write 9 home loans. It is accounting sleight of hand designed to paint a rosier picture of what actually happens within the grey walls of the building.

Thanks to President Trump, their bluff has been called and the facade they maintained for decades has deteriorated to the point that they are finally being recognized for what they are. Margaret Sanger would be pleased that Planned Parenthood carried out her wicked vision for these many years, but Americans have had enough.
