SALLY MORRIS: IN HONOR OF CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS
Tomorrow is Columbus Day. That’s right. It’s not an error. It is Monday, October 12, and it is Columbus Day. Despite the fact that our law enforcement, state governors institutions of higher “learning”, mayors and city councils have allowed violent mobs to topple statues dedicated to this great man’s achievements. It’s time to clear the air on this one. You may wish to call it something else. Thursday, maybe or “Indigenous People’s Day”. I could make the case for Columbus, but I think I will just let Michael Knowles to do this. Please take a few minutes and listen to Knowles’ concise and informative discourse.
