The real inflationary (or hyperinflationary) risk that the financial markets will calculate very carefully going forward is that the central bank, with this announcement, has now opened itself to being fully co-opted by the political process in Washington. Consider, why make hard political decisions on taxes and spending when the central bank has, in effect, just announced that it stands at the ready to print the money to finance any deficit of any size in order to underwrite any amount of future debt accumulation? A central bank that is willing to simply print money out of thin air to finance unlimited amounts of debt will eventually undermine the confidence in the currency being managed as lenders eventually seize on the realization that they will never be paid back in anything other than worthless paper.

Know this: Every time you use the term "gay marriage," "homosexual marriage," or even "traditional marriage" (the Lexicon of the Left), you undermine yourself. If one of the first two, it is because you are explicitly acknowledging an imaginary institution's existence. If the last one, you are implying it. For what is the other side of the coin of "traditional marriage"? And if the American psyche is imbued with the idea that "marriages" between same-sex individuals exist and that marriage is a right, well, you can forget the legal and political battles. Recent poll data from Gallup reveal a stronger than expected prognosis for North Dakota candidates that convince voters that they are “Conservative Republicans”. On the flip side, those candidates that voters conclude are “Liberal Republicans” may well be at risk.

I would much rather call an honestly liberal Democrat “friend” than a dishonest liberal calling himself or herself a Republican… “Honesty” is much more important to me than political philosophy!

Educators, unions, and education industry parasites are going to go right on pushing the more-funding-better-performance myth. It's the taxpayers' job to stop the freight train by holding schools accountable for cutting spending just as taxpayers must cut back when there's no money left to spend. Quite a foreign concept in today's American education establishment and throughout government in general.

If that is true, then although we seem to be in the middle of hot battle, we are really near the ridge of great victory.  The left in America, like the Communist Party in the Soviet Union, seemed immortal.  Then it was all blown away, with collapsing before little more than a soft autumn wind.  Gallup, no haven for conservatives, tells us that conservatives outnumber liberals in every state but Rhode Island.  Battleground, whose polling is conducted by a Republican and a Democrat organization, tells us that sixty percent of Americans, year in and year out, call ourselves “conservative.”  Smile:  we are winning.

Thanks to an article on the Internet, I think that I have finally figured out why liberals have such a chip on their shoulder; why they prefer to shout conservatives down or play the non-existent race card, rather then engage in a serious debate of the facts.

Civil authorities serve God, and Christians can obey the law and be good citizens by simply keeping the Commandments. Were these words meant to ward off suspicions that Christians were subversive and to encourage them to respect human law, at least insofar as it conformed to God's law?

Paul's words may carry an ironic meaning that would escape the Roman authorities. By positing a just government -- very unlike the rule of Nero -- he may have been subtly implying that Christians are "not" morally bound to cooperate with tyranny.
